Group Advisory for Individuals With Disability {--} Job Clubs

I have been working for more than three years in o. s. Asistence as a lecturer of group advisory meetings called Job Clubs. The objective of the presented thesis is to evaluate the importance and the key benefits of the group meetings for the clients. The thesis covers the theme of group advisory for certain job seekers with disability. The theoretical part describes the target group of individuals with physical or combined disabilities, the attitude of the society towards employment of people with disabilities, the importance of work for an individual, the issue of supported employment, group social work as well as Job Clubs. The research part of the thesis describes the qualitative research aimed at identifying and describing the benefits of Job Clubs for individuals with physical and combined disabilities in improving their employability. The research was carried out in o. s. Asistence from December 2007 to April 2008 using the structured interview methodology. Two groups of respondents were interviewed. The first one included 18 Job Club participants, the second one comprised of 6 Job Club lecturers. Information gathered in the research will be used by o. s. Asistence to improve the service. The research results underscore the importance and benefits of the group advisory for individuals with various disabilities. The thesis may also serve as a manual for future Job Club lecturers and to point out the importance of employing people with disability in the open labour market.

Educational aims of the work with refugees in the detention centres of the Ministry of the Interior

This thesis deals with the refugees in detention centres in the Czech Republic. Its aim is to describe and suggest educational and training aims for them. Theoretical part outlines the situation of migration in the Czech Republic, detention centres for refugees and their typical psychological problems. It accounts the educational aims from the point of view of common theory of education and leisure time education. The practical part describes the life of refugees in the detention centre in Kostelec nad Orlicí, their activities in leisure time and relations between the employees and clients of the centre. The refugees are seen as social workers´ and educators´ clients. The interviews with the employees of the detention centre are qualitatively analysed, attention is paid both to their activities and to their private aims at work and so the educational aims for the pedagogical workers dealing with refugees are formulated.

The Development of Attitude to School by Children Beginning School Attendance

The aim of my diploma thesis is to ascertain how is developed attitude to school by children beginning school attendance. The theoretical part is devoted to pre-school children and primary school children with specialization in socialization in their family and out of it. There is also included concept of primary school. The practical part is devoted to the research of the developmet attitude to school by three children. Information was found out of that three children, their parents and teachers. There are used three methods. Observation, structure interview and unfinished sentences.

The problems of drug use in the Romany population

The work consists of two parts, theoretical and experimental. The theoretical part deals with the specialities of Romany ethnic minority, it concentrates on the mutual relations among Romanies and majority, present status of Romany community, current drug scene and care system of the drug dependents. The aim of my experimental work has been to look through the life of drug dependent Romanies, to upvalue their situatio, to map the spectrum of drug use and to reveal problems connected with drugs. I also wanted to investigate the possibilities of specific services for Romany drug users and tried to reveal the real causes of low use of current offer by dependent Romanies.

Using of Marketing Tools in Chosen Retail Subject

The state of using of marketing tools was analysed in a picked retail subject and an improving of the present state of marketing tools in the chosen retail subject was suggested. The quantitative research have been done in the form of quetionnaire and qualitative in the form of detailed study. The situation of exquisite retail dealer was investigated in the form of detailed study.

Analysis of different approaches to determining the administrative burden on business

This thesis focuses on the performance of different methods of determining the administrative burdens. There is defined the concept of the administrative burden and there are described selected approaches to its identification and measuring: Doing Business Index, Standard Cost Model (SCM), qualitative research and other alternative methods. These approaches have been used in practice to determine the burden of the selected company. The recommendation, which approach should be preferred, is based on, among other things, the outcome of using different approaches in practice.

Does marketing research have important role in operation and decision-making of the touroperator?

The thesis is divided into two main parts -- theoretical and practical. In theoretical part are characterized touroperators and their operation and typology. Following chapters are dedicated to marketing research and its characteristic including reasons for its realization and particular steps of marketing research process, types and forms of marketing research with detailed characteristic of qualitative and quantitative research. Next chapters discuss information in marketing research and their sources, realization and operating of marketing research. In practical part are summarized answers given by respondents within qualitative research that were about the importance of marketing research in operation and decision-making of the touroperator. The results of research are stated at the end of each subchapter.

Náplní práce provedení písemného šetření ve Stavebním závodě Zevosu, a.s., analýza zjištěných dat a zpracování výsledků spokojenosti zaměstnanců. Závěrem je managementu doporučeno, jak zvýšit spokojenost zaměstnanců.
