Implementation of quality of service in the control of a network element
Boháč, Martin ; Kyselák, Martin (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
The main task of the Master Thesis is introduction into problems of quality of service in converged networks especially with use of IP protocol version 6. Converged networks are able to transfer different data types - voice, data or multimedia stream. Design of active network unit is realized in Matlab Simulink. Designed model consists of simple network with some computer terminals which are connected with network element - switch. Switch model simulates real traffic of computer terminals, that are sending data to remote users. Packets in switch are sorting by data stream type and QoS. Switch is managed by neuron network. Neuron network reacts to input data and controls switch depending on type of recipient. Switch model can be used in laboratory exercising. Solving this theme needs basic skill in Simulink and theme can be done in one laboratory exercise.
Possibilities of simulation and optimization of queuing systems in MATLAB
Kakvic, Martin ; Leixner, Martin (referee) ; Krajsa, Ondřej (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the possibilities of simulation and optimalization of ethernet networks in Matlab interface. Ethernet technology, quality of service and architecture of differentiated services are described in this thesis. Based on these facts, there was created a toolbox. This toolbox allows to create a dynamic network, which can be configured via using GUI. In the end of the thesis, there are shown results of the simulation of networks, which is running in created program.
Standardization of Czech version of Servqual for sport services nebo jen Servqual for sport services in Czech environment
Vašenda, Michal ; Šíma, Jan (advisor) ; Pecha, Ondřej (referee)
(EN) Title: The process of pilot standardization of the Czech version of the questionnaire SERVQUAL for the sports services indurty. Objectives: This paper focus is to initiate the standardization process of the Czech version of the SERVQUAL questionnaire for fitness and recreational sport and prepare the ground for its future use in practice. Methods: First was SERVQUAL questionnaire translated into Czech language and distributed to two fitness centers during six months period. Then using Generalizability theory and faktor analysis the reliability and internal structure of this instrument was examined. Results: Provides information about use of this instrument in assesing service quality of fitness centers in Czech republic . Proposes recommendations for further modification and use the questionnaire in the Czech environment. Key words: Service quality, Measurement of service quality, Generalizability theory, Factor analysis. This research was supported by the Grant agency of Charles University, project no. 267811 Measuring sport services quality in fitness industry
A system for monitoring the quality of connectivity
Vyskočil, Vladimír ; Peterka, Jiří (advisor) ; Děcký, Martin (referee)
The aim of the theses is to design a methodology for centralized monitoring of data traffic in an ISP network that would detect individual connection with connectivity problems, and evaluate these problems. The methodology should at least evaluate packet loss and latency between a centrally located monitoring point and endpoints at user premises. A further goal is to implement this methodology, test it and evaluate the results.
Vplyv kvality služieb na rozvoj obce z pohľadu miestnych rezidentov
Stahlová, Vladimíra
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to find out whether the inhabitants of the village Borský Svätý Jur are satisfied with the quality of offered services and what factors influence the development of the municipality. Also there will be a prediction of further development of the village. Literary review deals with the theory of services, consumer behavior, what is the development of the village and what factors influence the development of the village. In the second part of the thesis is an evaluation of the questionnaire survey, by which was found out the quality of services in the municipality. Based on these results, hypotheses and predictions were made for the following period of time.
Simulation of Data Transmissions in Integrated Networks
Rozsypal, Pavel ; Endrle, Pavel (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
The goal of this assignment was to analyze the issue of data transfer in integrated networks focusing on quality of service. The thesis describes the various network elements, their function, advantages and disadvantages. Attention was also paid to neural networks, with a focus on the analogy between biological neuron and the artificial neuron. Another part of paper was dedicated to the simulation possibilities of these network in MATLAB. To simulate the behavior of network elements was used OPNET IT Guru software.
Marketing research of spectators satisfaction with Hokejová bitva
Štenclová, Markéta ; Šíma, Jan (advisor) ; Štědroň, Bohumír (referee)
Title: Marketing research of spectators satisfaction with Hokejová bitva Purpose: The main aim of my thesis is to analyze how the spectators are satisfied with the offered services provided by organizers of Hokejová bitva and the general satisfaction with each event held in 2013 and 2014, and then compare the obtained information. Based on the results, I suggest some recommendations on possible improvements or changes in the criticized areas, which could lead to increased satisfaction of the audience and possibly to increase the number of viewers in following years of this event. Method: Marketing research was conducted through a quantitative method, using the written and electronic forms of questionnaire survey. Respondents were randomly selected from all visitors of this event. The results are shown in tables and graphs MS Excel in the analytic part. Results: The results of the analysis show that the spectators of Hokejová bitva in 2014 were generally more satisfied than spectators in the previous year. Based on identified insufficiencies in program and in other offered services are suggested possible measures of improvement. Key words: Customer satisfaction, customer, sports event, quality of services.
Customer satisfaction with services of Domyno sport-relax center
Kočová, Lenka ; Voráček, Josef (advisor) ; Šíma, Jan (referee)
Title: Customer satisfaction with services of Domyno sport-relax center Objectives: The goal of this bachelor thesis is to find out how much the customers are satisfied with the current services, which are offered by Domyno sport-relax center, to do a marketing research with using a questionnaire and then to use the results of the research to make a suggestions for changes, which would improve the quality of their services to satisfy their customers' needs. Methods: There was used a quantitative research to collect the data, concretely interviewing, which was focused on the customer satisfaction with the offered services. The collecting of data was held in Domyno center for 3 days. Results: Results of the questionnaire are interpreted and displayed in the tables and graphs in the results' section of this bachelor thesis. The customer biggest satisfaction is with the beach volleyball and the aerobic exercise H.E.A.T. The best under reviewed supplement service is the reservation system. At the end of this bachelor thesis I used the interview results to suggest some changes, which would improve the service quality in Domyno sport-relax center. Keywords: marketing, customer, service, service quality, customer satisfaction
