Tyre Parameters Measurement
Pokorný, Pavel ; Vančura, Jan (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
It is the tyre that ensures the interaction between a wheel and road surface and it is the the tyre which also acts as a primary cushioning. Its construction, features and condition highly influence driving properties of a car and thus passenger safety as well. In motorsports the tyre is a key part of the vehicle and therefore it is necessary to make use of its complete potential for reaching the best results. The aim of this thesis is a device construction suitable for tyre parameter and their characteristics measurement. The next task is to design a measuring system for tyre pressure and temperature monitoring. With using of these devices a few real-tyre measurements and subsequent result evaluation will be done. The output of the thesis is an overview of construction details, overview of selected tyre parameters, design and drawing documentation of multipurpose measuring device and the results of my measurements.
Depth-Based Determination of a 3D Hand Position
Ondris, Ladislav ; Tinka, Jan (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
Animation Library Focused on Skeletal Animations
Dokoupil, Petr ; Přibyl, Jaroslav (referee) ; Štancl, Vít (advisor)
This thesis proposes an architecture of animation engine flexible enough to support large scale of animation algorithms with unified approach to each one of them. One of the major goals of the engine is to support creation of very complex animation seqences with high degree of animation execution control. The main animation technique used in the engine is skeletal animation and some variants of this technique are already implemented within, but it was never meant to be skeletal animation only engine and is designed that way.
3D Triangles Polygonal Mesh Conversion on 3D Spline Surfaces
Jahn, Zdeněk ; Šiler, Ondřej (referee) ; Kršek, Přemysl (advisor)
In computer graphics we can handle unstructured triangular 3D meshes which are not too usable for processing through their irregularity. In these situations it occurs need of conversion that 3D mesh to more suitable representation. Some kind of 3D spline surface can be proper alternative because it institutes regularity in the form of control points grid and that's why it is more suitable for next processing. During conversion, which is described in this thesis, quadrilateral 3D mesh is constructed at first. This mesh has regular structure but mainly the structure corresponds to structure of control points grid of resulting 3D spline surface. Created quadrilateral 3D mesh can be saved and consequently used in specific modeling applications for T-spline surface creation.
Animation in 3D Studio
Černý, Miloš ; Žák, Pavel (referee) ; Přibyl, Jaroslav (advisor)
The goal of this project is to inform readers about options of character animation. In theoretical part we discuss key-frame animation, forward and inverse kinematics and also the ragdoll technique. The aim of this work is to create a complex animation using 3D Studio Max with some of previously mentioned techniques.
Structural analysis of part of electrical machine
Fodor, Viktor ; Hájek, Vítězslav (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
This thesis discusses the optical diagnostics of electrical motor parts using a 3D scanner. It describes the construction of electrical induction motors, their heat losses, cooling and refrigeration systems that may be used by such motors. It approaches the possibilities of heat recording and briefly explains the 3D scanner’s principal. It also introduces the simulation program ANSYS which uses the finite element method. This thesis shows the post processing of the digitalized object and the simulations and compares the simulation and measurement results. The final part is devoted to the analysis of the obtained results.
Mathematical models in logistics
Nevrlý, Vlastimír ; Holešovský, Jan (referee) ; Popela, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to model and generate test transportation networks, which are similar to real-world waste management networks. Several software tools (Mathematica, GAMS, Excel, VBA) are used to develop suitable procedures. The next task is to analyze dependence of computational complexity on the size of network by using statistical test computations. The existing original optimization model called NERUDA that supports decision-making in the eld of waste management is utilized. The obtained results are processed, analysed and interpreted in detail.
Thermomechanical tire model
Vaníček, Jan ; Štětina, Josef (referee) ; Porteš, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis is about thermomechanics of passenger car tires. The research part dealing with existing tire models is followed by the practical part. The practical part is based on the designs of thermomechanical models. The first model determines a dependence of temperature on the air pressure inside a tire when a temperature changes. The second thermomechanical model captures all the heat fluxes which affect a tire while a vehicle is in motion. The third thermomechanical model calculates temperatures of parts of the tire during driving tests. All models are programmed in MATLAB.
Blender add-on for 3D Rigging
Horák, Rostislav ; Milet, Tomáš (referee) ; Chlubna, Tomáš (advisor)
The project objective is to create a Blender addon that can automatically generate a skeleton for 3D model and on top of that will be open and easily extendable by more skeleton extraction methods. The core of this project is a framework of this addon which will contain a list of implemented methods from which the user can choose. The project is implemented in Python with Blender API. Part of the project is an implementation of skeleton extraction method using 3D silhouette, emphasis is placed on speed while retaining certain accuracy.
Kiss of the Death in Czech fine Art 1895-1918
Tomášková, Klára ; Bendová, Eva (advisor) ; Pech, Milan (referee)
In this bachelor's thesis, I will present theme of a kiss in different perspective other than classic kiss of love, between a man and a woman. I will deal with the kiss as a sign of death. I focus on Czech modern art in the years 1895 - 1918. Kiss, in this unusual meaning, we can find, for example in the form of the so called angel's kiss, signifying the departure of the soul to the other world. We observe this scene in the painting Světice by Josef Mandl from 1905, besides the painting itself, we will explain the symbol of the deadly angel's kiss as such. The second chapter of the work refers to the key topic related to the kiss of death, the subject of Judas kiss. In Christianity, specifically in the New Testament, Judas Iscariot marks Christ with his kiss, thereby condemning him to death. This theme can symbolize not only death but especially betrayal. In Czech modern art, it can be analyzed in the painting of the same name by Jan Konůpek from 1912. I dedicate the last chapter of the work to a frequent symbolic theme, the kiss of death in the form of a kiss by skeleton. This theme, also popular in Edvard Munch's work, resonates in Czech art in the work of Bohumil Kubišta, The Kiss of Death, from 1912. The method of my work will be the description and analysis of the mentioned works and their...
