Dobot and PLC
Frýdl, Lukáš ; Foukal, Roman (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
The master thesis focuses on the description of stationary robots, selection, implementation, and verification of the communication interface between the Dobot robotic arm and the Micro800 series PLC. The RS-232 serial communication interface was selected for the communication between the Dobot and the PLC, that operates at different baud rates. The Arduino Mega was used to create bridge that converts transfer rates. It also converts the received ASCII characters to hexadecimal representation and combines them into the required format. Verification of the communication interface was carried out by bidirectional communication between the Dobot and the PLC. Based on implemented commands two laboratory tasks for educational purposes were created.
Collaborative robot control by PLC
Novotný, Jiří ; Benešl, Tomáš (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the control of a collaborative robot using a PLC. To implement this work is used collaborative robot YuMi from ABB and PLC from Siemens of latest series S7-1500. We will get acquainted with products which have been used in project and with the development environment for PLC (TIA Portal) and for robot (RobotStudio). We define the requirements for the communication interface between the robot and the PLC. We will describe a demonstrating task requiring control of a robot using a PLC. The task demonstrates a real application for the end user. Then we implement PROFINET communication interface and implement the described task for the robot. The final solution is then tested in real production line.
Control Panel with Touchscreen
Nevoral, Jan ; Crha, Adam (referee) ; Musil, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this work is to design and construct a printed circuit board with touchscreen connection that will serve as a universal platform for controlling a variety of devices including industrial devices. The functionality of the board is demonstrated on control of gas boiler application. The first part attends to currently used and available graphic displays, touchscreens, communication interfaces and microcontrollers that allow control of a graphic display. The main focus is put on LCD TFT displays, resistive touch panels and microcontrollers with LCD TFT controller. The second part describes the selection of system components, design of printed circuit board and implementation of thermostat. The end of the work evaluates the produced device and discusses possible future extensions.
Industrial application of TS displays
Chytil, Lukáš ; Zemánek, Miroslav (referee) ; Boušek, Jaroslav (advisor)
This master thesis describes the design of control unit, which has the task to operate industrial facilities for disinfection of swimming pools or living rooms. The designed control unit is trying to regulate power and flow rate, which is controlled by electronic valve with a flowmetr. The whole design is aimed at minimizing operating costs (mainly consumed liquid oxygen). Interaction with the operator is ensured by the HMI display. There is also an effort to highlight the importance of HMI applications in the industry.
Use of "Bin Picking" in industry.
Jirků, Lukáš ; Jirgl, Miroslav (referee) ; Baštán, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor thesis aims to familiarize with the technologies of the robotic selection of randomly oriented objects (bin picking) and the subsequent implementation of demonstration tasks. We will also get acquainted with our components (robot, scanner, PLC) and define the requirements for the communication interface between the individual components. Then we describe the demonstration task and design a communication interface. Subsequently, we implement the communication interface and implement the demonstration task.
Autonomous mobile robot communication interface design
Bajer, Jan ; Šnajder, Jan (referee) ; Věchet, Stanislav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and implementation of a communication interface for an autonomous mobile robot, which is designed for watering plants. The theoretical part is a search for possible ways of communication with the ROS system, which runs on the robot. Subsequently, the possibilities of designing a mobile application for interaction with this robot are explored. In the practical part, a communication interface is designed using the MQTT protocol together with the implementation of this interface into a robot, database server and mobile application, which is created using the Flutter framework. The conclusion of the work discusses the suitability of the communication protocol used and the evaluation of the functionality of the created system.
E-shop and information system interface
Dvořák, Zdeněk ; Dvořák,, Jiří (referee) ; Dvořák, Jiří (advisor)
This study will be about realization of connection between internet shop and information system of company GOLF TIME. This bachelor thesis should analyze each part of both systems, which is useful to connect and prepare all teoretical knowleges for this process.
Communication Between Asset Administration Shells
Nováček, Ladislav ; Arm, Jakub (referee) ; Marcoň, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the issue of industrial communications in Industry 4.0. It treats the topic of communication between two or more asset administration shells. The introductory part of the thesis deals with the research and selection of suitable communication interfaces for Industry 4.0. In the second part of the thesis, a model on which the communication interfaces are tested is proposed and implemented using pre-designed scenarios. The result of the work is an evaluation and comparison of the selected communication interfaces and the possibility of their use in Industry 4.0.
