Contemporary Music Clubs in Prague

Author's precis The aim of this bachelor thesis is to survey the history and current situation of Prague music clubs and research the clubs in the Smíchov and Žižkov districts. The reader will be offered overall information about the location, interior, genre polarization and shortly described history of the clubs. We will also try to recognize the common and different signs of the clubs in the two districts. We will deal with the origin and history of the clubs and their development from broadside ballads and vaudevilles over musical chambers and cabarets of the old Prague to the music clubs of our times, since this information is also relevant to the topic. In the first part of the thesis we will deal with the definition of a music club and the history of these socio-cultural institutions in Prague. After the era of professionally composed broadside ballads and vaudevilles, their first real analogies seem to be Prague musical chambers and cabarets. Through the both wars and socialist era, we will get to the postrevolutionary Prague. In the second part, the practical research in the Prague music clubs is decribed. Annotation: My thesis is mapping main differences between judo courses and judo clubs and professional judo clubs. It is describing their, facilities, organization, the ways they train, the contents of the coach's work in the classes and in the club. It is also describing the differences in maintaining talents, ways of recruiting new people and it is defining, how judo classes are linked to the judo clubs. In the practical part of my work I am trying to define all noted above through analysis and practical running various classes, clubs and professional judo clubs. YMCA and University sport as pioneers of volleyball in Czech countries

Title: YMCA and University sport as pioneers of volleyball in Czech countries Objectives: The goal of our thesis is to make an overview of beginning and development of volleyball between first and second world war in Czech countries and to prove the influence of YMCA and University sport on it. Methods: We have used these methods in our thesis: progressive and retrospective method, direct and indirect method and comparative method. The necessary part of a retrospective and progressive method were synchronous and diachronic attitude to a historical progress. Results: The thesis provides an overview of information related to the formation and development in a period between World War I and World War II in the Czech lands with contribution of the YMCA organisation and the University Sport organisation. The paper demonstrates that these two organisations had the major role in the development of volleyball and thanks to them volleyball in our lands is one of the best ones in Europe from its beginning, in a matter of both its level and organisation. Analysis of regional and club origin in the education of players playing the highest senior competition in the Czech Republic or the highest foreign competition in the period from 2010 to 2021

Title: Analysis of regional and club origin in the education of players playing the highest senior competition in the Czech Republic or the highest foreign competition in the period from 2010 to 2021. Objectives: Find out the participation of regions and clubs that are most involved in education into the Czech highest senior competition - I. Fortuna League or the highest foreign competition in the period from 2010 to 2021. Methods: Comparative historical research Results: The most effective region in the criterion of the length of the time time period of sports preparation of a player for the highest senior competition is the region Prague. The most effective club with the status of KA is AC Sparta Prague (577 years), the club with the status of SCM 1. FK Příbram (318 years), the club with the status of SpSM FK Frýdek Místek (57 years) and the club without status/assistance TJ Tatran Sedlčany (25 years). Clubs with amateur status ensure dominantly a higher number of first registrations in the FACR information system, however, in the U11 category there is a higher number of players registered in clubs with professional status. Efficacy of Education for Youth Representations in the Czech Republic

Title: Effectiveness of education for youth football teams in the Czech Republic. Objectives: To determine the participation of clubs and regions that are most involved in the education of youth representation players in the categories U16, U17, U18, U19, U20 and U21 which was born in 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004. Methods: Mixed research Results: Our survey results confirmed a crucial role in the football training of future youth representatives in clubs with professional status (2095 years; 64%) compared to amateur clubs (1210 years; 36%). The largest part of the time period of sports training until the status of a youth representative was achieved was provided by the Prague city with 861 years (27%). The Karlovarský (47 years; 1%), Liberecký and Vysočina (28 years; 1%) regions present a very low efficiency of education in youth representations in the Czech Republic. 219 regions (65%) were raised in one region and more regions participated in 117 players (35%). AC Sparta Praha (487 years with registration with 73 players) and SK Slavia Praha (382 years with registration with 62 players) participate the most in the education of players in youth teams. The use of foreign players in Czech extraleague baseball

Title: The use of foreign players in Czech extraleague baseball Objectives: The thesis aims to determine the contribution of foreign players who were active in the Czech baseball extraleague at the game and club level for the seasons 2015-2020. The diploma thesis compares the effectiveness of game performance of foreign players with Czech players. Conducting statistical analysis can show how many foreign players were on individual teams, and how effective they are for the team. Methods: The thesis analyzes secondary data obtained from the information system of the Czech Baseball Association and data collected by the baseball-stat web portal. Furthermore, semi-structured interviews were conducted with representatives of six Extraleague clubs. The number of foreign players in 2015-2020 and their national composition was examined. Central to the thesis were statistics such as Wins Above Replacement (WAR), Number of innings pitched (IP), Earned run average (ERA) and Batting average (BA). Results: In conclusion, the thesis analyzes secondary sources compared with an analysis of interviews with representatives of Extraleague clubs. Title: Aspect of ice-hockey kids recruitment Goals: Main goal of this thesis was to find out, how enrolment days affect the decision of parents, whether their kid starts going on ice hockey trainings regularly. Furthermore, if coaches consider these reasons significant. Method: Data were acquired with quantitatively by questionnaire. Questionnaires were created in two versions - for coaches and for parents and then they were distributed in electronic form. They contained four parts, which aims to obtain necessary data for answering exploratory questions. Results: Identifying of base aspects, which have impact on parents and children and could affect the successibility of the enrolment days. The aim of the thesis is the analysis of russian educated society - the intelligentsia without difference in the origin - in the period when gained its own identity, delimited its ideological grounds and imperatives and had fragmentary tendentions to create the civil society. By institutionals and individuals examples from noble- and raznochintsy intelligentsia is analyzed at the first private and then public socializing. It is related to describe of the creation of beginnigs of the public space and related public opinion. The thesis is therefore concerned with particulars social platforms, in which russian intelligentsia was engaged at that time, especially masonic lodges, salons and clubs. The result of thesis should be the analysis of the development of the educated russian society in the time before Decembrists uprising, the analysis of intellectual potential of this society, its mental emancipation and its diverse activities. The thesis draw from unpublished archival sources, editions and from the latest specialized literature. Methodologicaly, the thesis is based on concepts of social, cultural and intellectual history on background of biographical method and with marginal use of concepts of history of mentalities and gender history.
