Kronovetrová Fingerová, Markéta ; Doležalová, Eliška (advisor) ; Komberec, Filip (referee)
This thesis deals with the topic of integrated teaching of Czech language in lower secondary School. Its aim was to find out the possibilities and limits of the implementation of this teaching. For more than a year she designed lessons for these classes based on the principles of integration of the components of the Czech language, constructivism, and the communicative principle. These are documented and reflected in this thesis. A secondary goal of this thesis was to observe the possibilities of conducting independent action research in mainstream settings and at a regular elementary school where it could become a means of professional development for teachers. The theoretical part of this thesis is based on the chapters dealing with the mapping of different conceptions of Czech language teaching and the current situation in the Czech Republic and abroad. These are followed by chapters dealing with the principles that were used to determine the principles for the development of individual lessons. Attention has also been paid to the description of the principles of action research. Czech and foreign sources were used. The bulk of the...

Olšavská, Marcela ; Komberec, Filip (advisor) ; Starý, Karel (referee)
This master thesis deals with the issue of cross-curriscural relations of the Czech language and literature and history in teaching in the 9th grade of upper secondary school. The first objective was to explore the current state of the concept of interdisciplinary relationships between these subjects in the Framework Educational Program for Elementary Education, selected School Educational Programs and selected teaching materials. The second objective was to to propose the possibilities of purposeful application of intersubject relationships of the studied subjects in teaching. The research consists in the analysis of the Framework Educational Program for Elementary Education, the School Educational Programs of nine selected schools and didactic material in the form of a history textbook, workbook, and teacher's guide, as well as a Czech language textbook, workbook, and teacher's guide, and finally, a reader and its accompanying teacher's guide. The research indicates that although School Educational Programmes are based on the Framework Education Program for Elementary Education, the concept of interdisciplinary relationships is not the same in all programmes. Leipertová, Gabriela ; Netrdová, Pavlína (advisor) ; Marada, Miroslav (referee)
LEIPERTOVÁ, G. (2012): Interdisciplinary relation between cartography and mathematics in the teaching at high school. Department of Social Geography and Regional Development, Charles University in Prague. The present diploma thesis analyses interdisciplinary relations between cartography and mathematics on three levels: on the level of intended curriculum, on the level of implemented curriculum and on the level of attained curriculum. On the level of the intended curriculum, project documents such as the Framework Educational Programme for High Schools and the School Educational Programmes of selected high schools are especially studied. The content analysis of selected textbooks of geography evaluates relations between cartography and mathematics on the basis of occurrence and (quality of) explication of required subject matters, amount of examples, illustrations and charts. Moreover, selected chapters of cartography, in which mathematical skills are applied, are elaborated in detail. On the level of the implemented curriculum, the real state of teaching of these interdisciplinary relations at selected high schools is evaluated through questionnaires for teachers of geography and of mathematics. On the level of the attained curriculum, the ability of pupils to combine knowledge of cartography and...
English Language Textbooks as a Possible Source of Inspiration for Teaching the Czech Language at Secondary School
Kábelová, Tereza ; Doležalová, Eliška (advisor) ; Šmejkalová, Martina (referee)
The diploma thesis English Language Textbooks as a Possible Source of Inspiration for Teaching the Czech Language at Secondary Schools deals with the design of lessons for teaching Czech language based on the inspiration of English textbooks. The work is based on theoretical knowledge concerning current trends in Czech language didactics (constructivism and its three-phase PPP model including work with students' preconceptions, development of conscious use of the language system, content reduction and content-focused approach). The fundamental starting point is represented by the communicative goals of language teaching as well as on the integration of the language curriculum and the communicative (and literary) components. The practical part of the thesis comprises suggestions for Czech language lessons based on the inspiration from English textbooks, and its basis is a content analysis of three topics (phrasemes and idioms, grammatical voice of verbs, and means of textual continuity) in Czech and English language textbooks for secondary schools. It also includes a complementary quantitative questionnaire survey on the perception of Czech language textbooks by secondary school students (not focusing on grammar schools). In addition to the content analysis, the proposed lessons reflect both the...
