This bachelor thesis deals with the satisfaction of the population with the client ser- vices of insurance companies in the field of liability and colision insurance. Nowa- days, the insurance market is considered to be the important and powerful compo- nent of the financial market. This thesis examines whether there is any insurance company that outperforms others in the area of customer satisfaction. I have chosen to focus only on the areas of liability insurance and collision insurance. The aim of the thesis is to find out whether it is worthwhile for current or prospective motor vehicle owners to stay with their insurance companies. And whether any of the in- surers should focus on improving their services for the satisfaction of their clients. The bachelor's thesis uses a questionnaire survey methodology and the data col- lected is evaluated and compared.

Their main task is to ensure the payment of health services in the form of health insurance. The objective of the work was to analyze the development of health insurance companies in the Czech Republic with a focus on the costs of medicinal products (MP) and medical devices (MD) dispensed on medical prescription in the years 2018-2020. Methodology: Data on health insurance companies' economy were obtained from the annual reports for the years 2018-2020, which health insurance companies publish on their websites. Data on the total costs of selected health services related to prescription of MP and MD and expenses for MP and MD dispensed on prescription issued by health service providers were processed. For the possibility of comparison, the data were converted to one insured person. COMPARISON OF THE INSURANCE MARKET IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC AND IN EUROPE

Main aims of the work The aim of this bachelor thesis was comparison of the insurance market in the Czech Republic and in several European countries: Austria, Belgium, Germany, France, United Kingdom, Malta, The Netherlands, Poland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Luxembourg, Sweden, Greece and Slovakia. Subjects of comparison were premium (life and non-life premium),investments, employees and companies, concentration ratio and penetration rate. Second aim was to compare the products of investment life insurance in some insurance companies in the Czech Republic. These companies were Česká pojišťovna, a.s., Generali a.s. and Uniqa a.s. Results The important result for the Czech insurance market is finding that life premium income is much lower in the Czech Republic than in developed European countries. Strong growth of life premium income in developed European countries demonstrates the healthy economic environment. It also reflects confidence of insured in life products as an investment for pensions or as an alternative investment in a period of low interest rates, which offer a good return with a good guarantee of capital security. The result of this bachelor thesis is proposal for the new investment life insurance designed for the Czech insurance market.

Insurance frauds in the Czech Republic

In this bachelor thesis I outline the topical issue of insurance frauds. The first part provides the definition of these frauds, what are their causes, consequences and in which insurance sector they occur the most. The next part of the work describes statistics of rauds in 2015 and 2016, where we can see how these figures increased and decreased within individual insurance classes. I list the possibilities of distributing insurance frauds according to different points of view. I also analyze possible ways to prevent and combat this issue. I also mention several known and unusual cases from real life. My work ends with an interview with Mr. John Mergel from Colonnade Insurance, who gave me more information about this issue and explained how these frauds are solved in real life. Insurance frauds are increasing year after year and the aim of this work is a general dedication to this issue and an analysis of the possible struggle with them.

Architecture of Prague's Financional Institutions in the European Context

The diploma thesis deals with architecture of financial institutions in Prague - banks, savings banks and insurance companies - from the middle of the 19th century (when the first representative headquarters of financial institution in Prague was built) to 1939. The research of the thesis is focused on territory of Prague New Town, which is included in town area of Prague 1, where the highest concentration of these financial buildings was in whole research period. The diploma thesis will register and interpret individual headquarters of financial institution in Prague in historical, economic and political context within the Czech lands and the Habsburg monarchy, then also within the Czechoslovak Republic; and in the context of urban and wider architectural development in Prague and Europe too. Actors in the transformation process of hospitals into joint stock companies in the Slovak Republic (2010-2011)

This thesis is focused on the transformation of hospitals into joint stock companies from 2010 to the end of 2011. It is primarily aimed at actors, their actions, positions, attitudes and interests in this process. Furthermore, it is concerned with the question of the public vs. private interests in terms of health protection, ensuring the availability and quality of healthcare. The transformation process of hospitals and the position of actors is explained by the combination of economic and public policy theory - neoliberalism, economic globalization, New Public Management and Advocacy Coalition Framework. We explain actions, attitudes and interests of actors in the transformation process of hospitals by using research methods such as an analysis of selected events in health care and research of actors' actions. These research methods are based on different methods of data collecting such as semi-structured and informal interviews, a questionnaire survey and the study of secondary sources. The main aim of this thesis is an analysis of the transformation process of hospitals into joint stock companies in context of selected events in health policy, with a focus on research of actors' actions, attitudes and interests in this process. Evaluation of life insurance

The aim of the thesis with title Evaluation of life insurance is to choose the most convenient insurance product for a specific client. Since we choose insurance on the basis of several criteria and it is not obvious at first sight which product is the most advantageous, it is suitable to use methods of multiple criteria decision making. In theoretical part basic notions concerning insurance industry and multiple criteria decision making are explained. Next, all methods which are used to determine weights of criteria and to choose the best variant are described in detail. For purposes of the thesis there were gathered drafts contracts for investment life insurance and risk life insurance from seven insurance companies, which means altogether fourteen contracts. In practical part evaluation criteria are determined in collaboration with client and their weights are calculated. Next, order of particular variants was determined. All process was in person consulted with a specialist from the area of insurance industry. On the basis of used methods of multicriterial evaluation of variants we can say that for the specific client the insurance product Bella Vita from the Insurance Company Generali is the best choice. In comparison with other alternatives it´s advantage is insurance payment already from the fifteenth day in case of incapacity for work, which arose as a consequence of injury and high insurance payment in case of hospitalization. If the client will choose investment variant or risk variant depends only on his decision, because their results are comparable.
