History of women's football in the Czech lands

This bachelor thesis deals with the history of women's football in the Czech lands. The thesis is divided chronologically from the very beginnings of football as a collective sport and traces the involvement of women in the game. It defines the first sporting activities of women in society and their official educational physical education process in Europe. Provides the earliest references to women's football in Great Britain and Bohemia. Describes the most important things that have happened in women's football in the Czech territory, in a chronological sequence from the founding of the first women's team, the structure of the first regular competitions to the current structure of women's football in the Czech Republic. The most famous teams are mapped and the most important personalities of women's football in the Czech Republic and the world are described. It describes the development of the Czechoslovak women's national football team from its first official match to its isolation under the Czech flag. The chapters are enriched with contemporary interviews and public reactions from available theses, periodicals, books and websites. The History of Physical Education and Sport in Borovany

This bachelor thesis deals with the history of physical education and sport in Borovany from the beginning of the founding of Local unity Sokol until 2018. In the first part is described a brief history of Borovany. Furthermore, the work is divided into three main historical periods. In the first period, the development of physical education and later sports is recorded from the year 1908 until the year 1945. The second period focuses mainly on the development of sports sectors between the years 1945 and 1989. The third period records the development of significant sports compartments in Borovany, especially in the years from 1989 to 2018. The last part is presented by the most successful athletes in the history of Borovany.

In this work I will try to focus on the creation and development of football culture on Prague's Letná plain. The aim will be to capture the origin and establishment of the first football clubs, their influence and activity from the second half of the 19th century to 1950s. The primary theme will be examining this period as one of the peaks of Czechoslovak sport culture.

Thesis topic is the history of physical education and sport in Vimperk starting from foundation of Sokol until the present days. The thesis is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is dedicated to historical context of Vimperk. The second part describes functioning of Vimperk and subsequent sport groups from their foundation up to 1945. The third section is devoted to origins and development of individual sports and organizations in Vimperk between 1945 and 1989. The last chapter follows in footsteps of previous a maps period of time from 1989 up to the present day.

Philosophy of sport

The thesis focuses on the philosophy of sport and historical analysis concerning the idea of the Olympic Games. Furthermore, the thesis aims to make the reader acknowledged with the historical beginnings of sport and evaluates various attitudes and changes concerning the initial sport philosophy and the perception of "Olympism" nowadays. More specifically we are trying to find the answer for the question how is sport in Antique different from its modern perception. In addition, the matter whether the change enables to imply the differences between the role of sport in the period of Antiquity and contemporary society, is being further discussed. The thesis is based on historical events and philosophical ideas of the origin of Antique Olympic tradition together with facts which led to the downfall and attenuation of sport in the medieval era. Moreover, it describes the birth of modern sport in its cradle in England and its revival in 19th and 20th century.

This graduation thesis traces the history of physical education and sport in Třešť from its beggining, when Sokol was founded there, to the present, respectively by 2014. The thesis is divided into three historical periods, when first period is defined by years 1893 and 1945 and deals with Sokol gymnastic unity and Labour gymnastic unity. The second period 1945 1989 is focused on inception and development of major sports clubs and the third period, from 1990 2014 builds on previous period and deals with major sports club.

This thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with general characteristics of sports competitions, their history, classification, funding, as well as introduces freestyle snowboarding in general, its disciplines, history, and the Association of Czech Snowboarding. In the practical part I analyze the profit and loss statements, comparing individual budgets, revenues, expenses and profits as well as compiling a horizontal trend analysis, SWOT analysis, benchmarking analysis of competing domestic and foreign firms and correlation analysis with the level of professional snowboarding in our country. In the end I present reached results and suggests many improvements to the current situation.
