Heating system of the apartment building
Rosíková, Barbora ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Vyhlídalová, Karolína (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design a heating system for an apartment building. The thesis is divided into theoretical, computational and design parts. The theoretical part deals with the regulation of the heating system. The computational part deals with the actual design and method of heating the apartment building and hot water preparation. Three low-temperature gas boilers are chosen as the heat source and the source for hot water heating, which are connected in a cascade manner. The flats are connected to manifolds and headers located on each floor of the building in the corridor. Plate, designer and tubular heating elements are proposed in the building. The project section contains the graphic design of the project, i.e. the project documentation and finally the technical report is placed at the end.
A design of thermoforming device
Vozár, Vojtěch ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Tůma, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the design proposal of a machine for thermoforming using and vacuum. The research part of this thesis discusses the technology of thermoforming plastics, production process, and tools used in thermoforming. Research part also includes a description of the machines available on the market. Following chapters describe the requirements for the machine, selection of design variants based on the weighted values method, and detailed design of the machine. Final part of thesis provides an estimate of the machine's cost and an evaluation of the results of the work. Bachelor thesis includes a 3D model created in SOLIDWORKS 2023 and chosen technical drawings.
Pressure losses in heating systems
Švanda, Martin ; Horká, Lucie (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with pressure losses in heating systems. The diploma thesis is divided into three sections. The first part is theoretical and deals with the occurrence of pressure losses. It discusses the properties of the fluid that affect pressure losses. It also deals with hydrodynamic phenomena, flow distribution, pressure loss distribution and its calculations. The aim of the second part, which is practical, was to create a heating project for a selected object. The object is a two-floor kindergarten building located in Velké Němčice. For this project, two heating variants were created. For the first variant, radiators and heating benches were designed and for the second variant, underfloor heating was installed in the building. The goal was to use a source which will gain heat mainly from renewable sources, so the air / water heat pump was chosen as the source of heat production. The project ends with a technical report. The third part of the thesis is dedicated to an experiment which purpose was to find out how the pressure losses of the connecting pieces are reacting to the change with the change of the heating water conditions (flow, temperature). Alongside, two pipes were created which differed in the type of connecting pieces so it allowed to compare how their pressure losses differ. Both pipes were connected by radial pressing, but the fittings differed in the quality of the brass, and therefore in the construction. Also, part of the experimental section of the diploma thesis is a description of the course of radial pressing of fittings from the Herz company.
Heating of the guesthouse
Kubík, Michael ; Vendlová, Lucie (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
The main subject of this bachelor thesis is the design of a heating system for a guesthouse located in a mountain area. The thesis is divided into 3 main parts - theoretical, computational and project. In the theoretical part, biomass and also petels are introduced. The second main part is focused on the concrete design of the heating system for heating and hot water. In the last part of the thesis, the technical report and the design of the building are provided.
Design of an apartment building heating system
Čunderlík, Marek ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Vyhlídalová, Karolína (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of boiler equipment in the theoretical part. In the practical part, the design of heating a three-storey apartment building is solved by means of a heating system. All devices that are needed to function the heating system are designed. The calculation also includes the design of hot water preparation in the storage heater.
Indirect resistance heating
Haluza, Zdeněk ; Foral, Štěpán (referee) ; Lázničková, Ilona (advisor)
The importance of electrical heating technology on a global scale is significant. Resistive heating is one of the many methods that can be used in electrical heating appliances. In direct resistive heating electric current flows directly through the charge. During indirect resistance heating electric current flows through the heating element, where the Joule losses (resistance losses) are arising and from them the charge is heated. In the first five chapters of the bachelor thesis are discussed various methods of heat transfer. The sixth chapter contains basic information about direct resistance heating. In the following chapters I have analyzed only indirect resistance heating. In the seventh and eighth chapters are listed and described parts of the electrical resistance furnace. In the ninth chapter is a general calculation of crucible furnace for melting aluminum followed by real calculation for crucible furnace according to the specified parameters.
Home brewery
Hlubinka, Jakub ; Tuhovčák, Ján (referee) ; Hejčík, Jiří (advisor)
The Bachelor’s thesis deals with phenomenon of home-brewing. The first part focus on technology of brewing with understanding is entry requirement for correct draft of home brewery. Second part describes possibilities of specific solution and configuration of each component of equipment for beer production in home environment. At the end is project of home brewery suitable for training of measurement and regulation in Master's degree program „Environmental Engineering.“
Solar collector type influence on the heating solar water tank
Čunderlík, Marek ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Vyhlídalová, Karolína (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals in the theoretical part with various types of sys-tems for the preparation of hot water and specifies the types of solar sys-tems. In the calculation part, it solves the design of kindergarten heating by a system of heating elements. It also solves two variants of hot water preparation in the hot water tank. The design also includes all the equip-ment needed for the proper functioning of the heating system. The exper-imental part compares flat panel and evacuated tube solar collectors.
Construction of synthetic skin type sensors
Ropog, József ; Vdoleček, František (referee) ; Zuth, Daniel (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the diagnosis of thermal environment using synthetic skin type sensors. The synthetic skin type sensor is a compact sensor ideal for simulating human skin. The aim is to design and implement such a sensor and test its properties. On the market there are no compact sensors with that kind of abilities and our goal is to design the cheapest, but still viable sensor. Measurement and data processing is implemented using measurement cards and LabVIEW software. The work also contains a design of signal conditioning without the use of measurement cards.
Residential building heating upgrades
Byrtus, Miroslav ; Vaščáková, Alena (referee) ; Vališ, Ivan (advisor)
The theoretical part deals with the thermal comfort environment and requirements for heating elements. It also describes types of heating elements, their division and the basic methods involved in the central heating system. The design of project solves heating of superstructure of apartment building and hot water in the apartment building.
