Augmented Reality for Training and Execution of Airplane Maintenance
Košík, Michal ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This thesis deals wtih augmented reality applied to aircraft maintenance which is widely explored here. Furthermore, a reseach is done on the previous work done in this field. A video data-set is acquired from LET - a manufacturer of LET L-410 aircraft and an application is created in order to test possibilities of using augmented reality in aircraft maintenance. The result and proposals of the future work can be found in this thesis as well
Validation of human body biological parameters for robotic visual telepresence
Cheparukhina, Anna ; Kopečný, Lukáš (referee) ; Žalud, Luděk (advisor)
This work presents a research in the field of robotic visual telepresence. At the beginning explains the principle of teleprezence and it makes classification of robots according to their properties and concepts. Furthermore, there is a review of modern existing robots. The following chapter discusses the human visual system, the basic parameters and functions including parameters of head movements. Subsequently have been selected critical parameters for visual telepresence. At the conclusion of the theoretical part were designed some experiments to validation of human body biological parameters. In the practical part was conducted measuring the extent and speed of head movements, eye distinction depending on the lighting and measurement of visual field man. Also, a series of experiments was performed for practical technical embodiment of the telepresence system rescue robot for class Orpheus.
Use of Head-mounted displays in risk management for machine tools
Jelínek, Martin ; Kotek, Luboš (referee) ; Tůma, Zdeněk (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design and technical possibilities of VR headsets and their application in mechanical engineering, specifically in the field of risk management in machine tools, using experience from other areas and history. The practical part of the thesis comprises a risk analysis carried out on a single selected machine (vertical machining center) by means of checklists and virtual technologies. The risk analysis techniques used are subsequently compared and evaluated. The results are then assessed and a proposal for the use of virtual reality in practice is put forward.
Physical Simulation in VR
Pacáková, Gabriela ; Milet, Tomáš (referee) ; Kobrtek, Jozef (advisor)
The main aim of this thesis is to introduce the reader to the theory and the implementation of a virtual reality application which uses HTC Vive headset and BulletPhysics engine. It describes the integration of BulletPhysics and OpenVR SDK with OpenGL. The result of this integration is a simple bowling game in VR that uses all the aforementioned resources and provides the user with an entertaining VR experience as well as a deeper understanding of computer graphics and VR principles.
Using Head-mounted displays in industrial applications
Dvořák, Dominik ; Kroupa, Jiří (referee) ; Tůma, Zdeněk (advisor)
The aim of the Bachelor´s Thesis is study of the current state of Head-mounted displays in industrial applications. The work is of reasearch character and contains basic informations about problematics of virtual and augmented reality in industry. It also deals with technologies and individual types of glasses for virtual reality and also uses VR in other fields. This is followed by an evaluation of the issue and an indication of where it could develop in coming years.
Controlling Virtual Avatar in Microsoft HoloLens with Use of Real-World Elements
