Frame of the elevator cabin

This bachelor thesis focuses on the design of the elevator frame, its strength calculation and functional calculation of the elevator system with a load capacity of 600 kg. It was necessary to determine the use of the elevator, the number of people carried and the type of drive that use elevator belts instead of ropes. The lift is designed for 6 people and installed in a four-storey residential building with traction drive with a 2:1 roping and a rated speed of 1 m·s-1. The frame structure was modelled in Autodesk Inventor, using C and square sections. Safety calculations were performed according to ČSN EN 81-20 and ČSN EN 81-50.

Project of service lift

This diploma thesis deal with project of service lift. The service lift is drive by special mechanism using thrust chain. The chain is led from chain accumulator over sprocket gear to vertical guiding groove. Lift car is connected to the end of chain. There are designed and described the most important constructional unit of service lift in this thesis. But the most attention is pay to drive, including break system and chain accumulator. The drive is consist of electric motor, clutch, break, planetary gearbox and sprocket gear.

Design of small CNC turning machine

The aim of this master thesis is construction a small CNC lathe ideal for small series of mostly minor workpieces or for learning needs. In the first part of the work is carried out general literature search containing turning technology, tools for turning and the allocation of turning machines. There is also retrieval of small lathes located not only in our market. Based on research are selected technical parameters of the machine and carried out construction calculations. Also included is a 3D model of the entire assembly and assembly drawings of machine nodes.

Green spaces in the city, their evolution and transformation on the example of Prague in 19th and 20th century

Green space is an essential part of the city urbanism. Research dedicated to development of the greenery and emergence of the first public parks contributes substantially to the understanding of urban issues and urban history. Green space has an aesthetic function, but is also a socially stratified space. Every city has its own unique greenery. It is not different in the case of Prague, whose dominant - Prague Castle creates unique linking of urban and green with Petřín and Malá Strana. The thesis "Green spaces in the city, their development and transformation on the example of Prague in the 19th and 20th century" aims to bring the historical development of Prague's greenery, especially the creation of public green space and point out the fact that people commonly accepted phenomenon of public parks was not always a matter of course. Development of green space, the struggle for its development and rescue, employed clubs, societies and individuals and has become one of the priorities for urban policy. Mainly the contemporary guides were used as a source for this work and for describing the emergence of the first public parks in the 19th century and the transformation of types of urban green areas. Guide services in historical seats of the Czech Republic

The work is concerned with the analysis of the guide services in some historical seats of the Czech Republic. The first part defines basic concepts - guide services and a historical seat. The second part characterizes guide services as a whole and is concerned with history and present of guide services in historical seats (towns/cities). The third part contains the analysis of questionairres answered by information centre workers and the fourth part summarizes recommendations for improvement of the guide services in the towns/cities.
