Design of manipulator for palletization

The matter of this master´s thesis is the construction of two variations of manipulator for palletization. The first solution is the derrick manipulator; the second one is the gantry manipulator. The aim of this master´s thesis is the comparison of both solutions from the point of view of the applicability, the cost and the demandingness of production. The productinon documentation will be elaborated for the selected solution.

Design of milling machine

The subject of this bachelor paper is a simplified construction of a milling cutter machine. The first part is the background research of the milling cutter machine. On the basis of this research the sphere of using of the designed machine and its basic parameters are determined. Afterwards the basic calculations are made and the drives of the machine are designed. A simplified 3D model created in the program Autodesk Inventor 2010, a design of the group and a piece list of the designed machine are the part of this paper.
Radial gantry crane

The aim of my thesis is a conceptual design radial gantry crane including the important strength calculations according to the standards and examinations by means of ANSYS Workbench. The lifting capacity is 1500 kg, the length of the boom is 12 000 mm and the height of lifting is 3600mm. The crane is designed as fully revolving and the angle turning is 360°. The work also includes the selection of a suitable lifting gear from the manufacturer´s catalogue including the accessories casters, all important components and also FEM construction analysis.
