Marketing Strategy of Vernon Gallery

The thesis pursues the following goals: firstly, it aims to map the status quo of marketing strategies of the Vernon gallery and to establish competitive advantages and disadvantages of the gallery in comparison with its competitors. Secondly, it considers whether the current situation in the gallery's marketing corresponds with relevant theoretical assumptions. Last but not least, the thesis aims to determine the gallery's potential weak points in the above-mentioned area and to propose solutions. The methods used involve analysis, comparison and theoretical-methodological application. The conclusion of the thesis involves several suggestions of which the Vernon gallery could take advantage in practice.
A usage of cultural facilities in tourism development on case of selected museums in the region of Telč

This thesis concerns the analysis of tourism in the selected area, i.e. analysis of primary and secondary potential of tourism in Microregion Telčsko. Then the tourism demand is analysed, partly by analysis of visitor needs and requirements by selected cultural facilities, partly as well the current visitor in Microregion Telčsko. The thesis evaluates the strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats of tourism in the selected area. Some product proposals for the selected segments were added. As well some communication and cooperation options (proposal) of cultural facilities in the context of the tourism sector were added.
Environment of tourism - visitors of art gallery, castle and chateau Klenová

Klenova is situated in the shadow of the main tourist attractions. In this locality there are two expressive tourist places: historical premises (ruin of medieval castle, chateau, which was built in the 19th century, historical granary and villa) and gallery of modern art. The aims of this work were: mutual comparison of sense of localization of two expressive tourist places in the same place and it all with the regard for their usage in travel movement and improvement of regional development. By the help of analyse were compared visitors of both places interfering in the only one area. Battles of interests were identified and also lacks of contemporary of spaces resulting from coexistence of more tourist places in this locality. Subsequently were elaborated suggestions of procurations, which optimalize usage of locality. One of which the guide way of castle was chosen like the main suggestion.
Marketing communication of galleries, comparing Prague and Wien

The aim of this paper is to confirm a hypothesis:"Marketing communication of galleries in Prague and Wien has similar features becouse of their common development, but marketing communication in Wien has higher quality". This hypothesis was confirmed by comparation of different forms of marketing communication in both cities.
Use of industrial buildings for art gallery and exhibition

The aim of this work is to analyze and evaluate procedures leading to the regeneration of industrial heritage and to compare some examples of conversions to gallery and exhibition spaces. The comparison of this adaptations is given by examples from several European countries and Czech Republic with sufficiently broad basis of informations. Work explains the terminology used in the field of the industrial architecture and the regeneration of brownfields. The work briefly asseses the physical state and extent of industrial heritage in the Czech Republic, its preservation and protection. For each state (UK, Spain, Fance and Czech) will be briefly described the basic international and national legal framework of the monuments (industrial heritage) care.
The exhibition project

This bachelor's thesis discusses the exhibition of works of art. It deals with activities that are within the competence of the organizer of such events. In the theoretical part the general principles and phases of the project are described. These are then itemized in the activities that preceded the exhibition and provide an overview of wals, which can be solved. This work deals with the role of artistic manager, including his collaboration with individual cells project, issues of financing promotion and selecting the area for the exhibition. Aspects of the theoretical part are applied in practical part of a project-specific exhibition of photographic works.
Exhibition activity in Telč and its influence on tourism

The thesis is focused on development of exhibition activity in Telč with emphasis on the present situation. It keeps an eye on the influence of exhibitions on tourism in the town and suggests measures that could lead to great interest in Telč's exhibitions.
Non-profit organization in the field of culture, the estabilishment and implementation of the project in practice

The goal of my bachelor thesis on the topic: "Nonprofit organization in the field of culture, the estabilishment and implementation of the project in practice" is to describe the terms and procedure for establishing a nonprofit gallery. The first part defines the terms relating to the nonprofit sector, and subsequently given the specifics of organizations active in culture. Next part deals with options suitable legal form and setting goals and mission. The last chapter of the methodology, deals with the financial analysis and way of getting financial aids from fundraising. The practical part is a particular example of nonprofit applied the procedures described in the methodological part. The main idea is to emphasize the need to pay greater attention to culture and art, which is a good platform for the development of society and the potential for economic development in the country.
Comparative analysis of gallery subjects management

Bachelor's Thesis deals with the comparative analysis of gallery subjects management. Specifically Galerie Rudolfinum and Galerie Peron in Prague are concerned. Under the terms of these subjects comparison, both SWOT and PESTL analyses were carried out and Porter's five competitive forces model was applied. On the basis of these analyses output and characteristic features of the mentioned subjects, comparison of both galleries management is carried out. The principal objective is to find out both common and different features in the given cultural institutions management. The theoretical part descends from general knowledge of management, managerial work and verges into chapter called cultural institutions management, which concludes definitions of cultural institution, gallery and sketches the relationship between institutor and manager. The area of funding and economic and legal types of galleries in the Czech Republic form an integral part of the work.
