On the cutting performance analysis of milling tools for a selected application.
Němeček, Lukáš ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
The presented diploma thesis is devided into two parts. The theoretical part deals with types of milling, the choice of the cutters, choice of material of exchangeable cutting plates and also with types of wear and their classification. The second part of the thesis deals with experiments where the power load of the tool was measured. The observed data were processed and graphs of power load were created by software. Conclusions are based on these graphs.
Milling cutters for CNC machine tools
Janošek, Martin ; Sámelová, Vendula (referee) ; Humár, Anton (advisor)
My bachelor thesis is about milling cutters for CNC machine tools. First the thesis deals with milling theory. There are fission tools or fission machines. Next chapter is about holding tools. The practical part deals with an assortment of production of milling tools for milling flat surfaces made by three milling tools producers. These are Sandvik Coromant, Pramet Tools and Walter companies. In the end of my work these companies are evaluated from different points of view.
Cold recycling of flexible pavements
Řehulka, Martin ; Koudelka, Tomáš (referee) ; Varaus, Michal (advisor)
The bachelor´s thesis is focused on recycling of the flexible pavements in general, namely cold recycling. This modern technology was introduced in the Czech Republic after 1989. The first half of the thesis describes theoretically various types of recycling of flexible pavements, where the greatest attention is paid to this technology. The second part describes the section of the modernization D1 motorway where this cold recycling was applied. The technological process, including visual documentation and control tests, is documented.
Description of tool clamping interface at milling machines
Coufal, Tomáš ; Holub, Michal (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
My bachelor thesis is about the ways of clamping of tools for milling cutters. The first part contains the basic distribution of toolholders. It decribes the possibilities of clamping of toolholders in the spindle of machine. The second part is concentrated on clamping of the small milling tools.
Application of PVD coatings for milling
Matuška, Martin ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
This dissertation treats of the influence of PVD coats to a change of tool lifetime. The theoretical part of the dissertation describes the adjustment of tools before the process of coating. Following part describes the specific properties of deposited layers of the coating and its measuring. There is also the enumeration and specification of selected ways of depositing PVD coats and brief description of its advantages and disadvantages. Second part of the dissertation is focused on an experiment with measuring of the tool force loading and its change depending to the tool wear. There are compared four short four-edged milling cutters with a coat and as well without it. Those tools were made of high speed steel by the conventional way and also by the powder metallurgy. Milling operation was done by down and up milling technique. The evaluation of the experimental results for powder metallurgy tools confirmed that these tools are advantageous compared to the standard high speed steel tools.
Study of machines for road maintenance in the summer
Hradil, Martin ; Malášek, Jiří (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis is written as a exploration of facts and is divided into several parts. It attends to an analysis of machines for road maintenance in summer, i.e. milling machines, mowers, mulching mowers and excavators. It adress to their constructive resolution. This thesis contains also choosen parametres of some machines.
Progress in technology of mold milling with coated profile tools
Doležel, Ondřej ; Bumbálek, Bohumil (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
This diploma thesis is involved in possible development of different types of milling molds coated with modern plows. The first part is devoted to an analysis of contemporary trends in forms production technology. The analysis includes the different types of machines and tools for making various kinds of molds and dies. Another part deals with design of dies for sheet metal shears. The thesis continues by design of the production procedure after heat treatment and finishing die by miling. For milling of die are designed miling tools, the NC program and the possible development of manufacturing the die using a new machining center and the possibility of production optimization. The penultimate point of the thesis is technical and economical evaluation of the direction of development and comparison of positives and negatoves of each method. At the final evaluation is all summed up.
Proposal of new clamping system of inserts for wood milling tools
Vančura, Tomáš ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
The work presented in this thesis has been dealt with issues of clamping systems of indexable inserts of woodworking milling tools. The aim of this thesis is to design new clamping system of indexable inserts according to the request of company Vydona, Ltd. The work has been divided into three chapters. Chapter 1 deals with characteristic of wood milling process. It has aimed to create a basic view at main parameters which are influencing clamping system of indexable inserts. Chapter 2 has been a literature search of existing clamping systems used in timber industry. The last chapter has been aimed to design of clamping system for pre-cut indexable insert.
Design of turning milling head
Orság, Petr ; Ing.Vladimír Dokoupil, CSc. (referee) ; Kolíbal, Zdeněk (advisor)
This work deal with different variants of the turning milling heads for CNC machines. The report depicts actual design solution of the turning milling head formilling machine, including technical report and economical conclusions.
Draft of Manufacturing Technology of the Insert Pocket
Jurča, Adam ; Václavek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Sliwková, Petra (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the design technology of the tooth gap mills. The theoretical part summarizes issues of material, milling and CAM technology. The practical part of the design process for the production of variants using CAM system. Parts are finally produced on 5-axis milling machine. At the end there is technical-economic evaluation of production.
