Photovoltaic in the Czech Republic within the framework of EU energy policy
Ullrych, Radek ; Němcová, Ingeborg (advisor) ; Machytka, Daniel (referee)
Members of EU are being pushed by the EU energy policy to exploit renewable energy resources more and more. Energy generation from photovoltaic power-station has become in the Czech Republic one of the most discussed resource. The bachelor's thesis evaluates EU perspective on renewable resources and shows implementation of Europe guidelines into Czech legislative. The thesis also tries to find out what was the reason for massive investments into photovoltaic power-stations. The last part speaks about business plan of the company Jihospol a.s., which is the owner of photovoltaic power-station.
Analysis of economy and conditions of electricity production by small water energy power station operator and solar-energy operator
Šíma, Ondřej ; Zeman, Karel (advisor) ; Petrášek, František (referee)
Production of electricity from renewable energy sources is very actual in present period by reason of badly adjusted parameters for future development in the area of renewable energy sources. These wrong economical decisions - inadequate financial support of the state, caused large development firstly of solar-energy power stations which has the consequence of raising of electricity price what negatively influences the end-customers, state budget and the whole national economy too. Interest of the topic emphasizes family ownership of two renewable manufacturing resources of electricity -- small water power station and solar-energy power station. In the theoretical part will be at first described all notions of relevance which refer to chosen topic, especially from area of economy, accountancy and energy industry. Then it will be characterized production of electricity from renewable resources, principles and instruments to supporting production of electricity from renewable energy sources with its economic impacts to national economy of the Czech Republic. The analytical part will compare legal environment and ways of financial support of two concrete power stations producing the electricity from renewable resources, i. e. small water power station and solar--energy power station, thereout will come comparison of both projects in light of basic economic parameters which are monitored within economy. In fine of this part will be monitored parameters of both projects analysed and mutually compared. The aim of this Bachelor work is analysis and comparison of production of electricity at two concrete power stations producing electricity from renewable resources, i. e. small water power station and solar-energy power station.
The Managerial model of an investment project of a PV Plant for international corporate profession
Skopal, Pavel ; Kovář, František (advisor) ; Kislingerová, Eva (referee) ; Pirožek, Petr (referee) ; Majdúchová, Helena (referee)
The implementation of photovoltaic power plants is the result of the collaboration between developers, investors, financing institutions, municipalities and general contractors. Investors make informed decisions based on expert evaluations of financial and nonfinancial criteria of projects. The investor provides equity capital for the project and the bank provides a loan usually in the amount of 70-80% of the total investment cost. The investor looks for the optimal solution for his investment and for the preparation and implementation of the project. To achieve this the investor needs to have a very good understanding of the country specifics where the project is located. During the construction works, outside bodies are part of the undertaking, especially law firms, expert technical supervisors and risk managers. The completed project is then valued using industry-standard methods and it becomes part of the investor's portfolio. New knowledge acquired during the development process is managed and applied to other projects.
Photovoltaic power station - return and evaluation of investment
DUDOVÁ, Alena
The goal of this bachelor thesis is evaluation of the effectiveness and return of investment in photovoltaic power station, then I compare the effectiveness of investment in the current conditions of the purchase energy with conditions that were valid in the past.
Evaluation of Effectiveness Concrete Investmen Intention of Photofoltaic Power Station.
ŠVARCOVÁ, Petra
This diploma work is dealing with problems related to production of electrical energy in compliance with environmental protection and assessment of its production from non-renewable sources in reference to sources being renewable. The work puts emphasis on the importance and utilization of solar electrical energy. The sun is a source that will not get dried or mined out and will not stop shining. The goal of diploma work was to appraise the investment effectiveness with regard to a photovoltaic power station and assess the power plant influence in relation to classic sources for energy production and environmental protection. Within the diploma work, there were appraised three variants of the investment project which assumed life time longer than 20 years comprising conventional financial flows, surface size of 30 000 m2 and roughly required output of 1.5 MW. Single options were assessed upon economical evaluation regarding different ways of financing, in terms of price, output and guarantees provided by suppliers including the assessment of grant influence on the project effectiveness. Based on these data, the most suitable version for the investment project of building up the photovoltaic power plant was chosen. At the conclusion, it is possible to state that the photovoltaic power plant is very considerate towards the living environment in contrast to classical sources for electrical energy production, for example coal-fired power plants which heavily contaminate the environment, and nuclear power plants with risks of radiation escapes.
Project Financing of Investment Projects in the field of Renewable Energy Resources
Karnetová, Lucie ; Fotr, Jiří (advisor) ; Barton, Jan (referee)
My thesis is focused on Project Financing of Investment Projects in the field of Renewable Energy Resources. The theoretical section, see Chapter Two, characterises the nature of project financing, parties, principles for successful project financing, types of capital invested in projects and their resources, risks, guarantees and securities. The practical (third) part of the thesis is oriented to specifics of project financing of Renewable Energy Resources. First of all principles for the assessment both of project bearers and projects in terms of quality are specified. Furthermore, principals for the assessment of financial terms of projects are given. The fourth and concurrently the final Chapter analyses a particular project in the field of renewable energy resources mostly from the financial point of view.
Analysis of investment in energy resources
Petríková, Tereza ; Kalčevová, Jana (advisor) ; Kalčev, Petr (referee)
Diploma thesis deals with analysis of energy resources. The aim is to map the potential of renewable resources in the Czech Republic and through multicriteria decision making to assess the potential investment options in renewable energy in the Czech Republic.
Economic apprasial of using the solar energy on the example of the photovoltaic power plant
Kollerová, Ivona ; Vošta, Milan (advisor) ; Němeček, Petr (referee)
This thesis concerns itself with renewable energy sources as a future alternative to the current dismal situation of fossil sources. From practical point of view deals the thesis with the process of construction of the photovoltaic power plant from the frame of reference of potentional investor. The part of the thesis is also the economic apprasial of the investment in photovoltaic power plant and the calculation of the presumptive rentability of such an investment.
Investment evaluation - Building of photovoltaic power plant
Kosinová, Michaela ; Sieber, Patrik (advisor) ; Hnilica, Jiří (referee)
The thesis deals with the following question: 1. What are the renewable resources? 2. Types of renewable resource. 3. European Union approach to renewable resources: targets 4. Czech Republic approach to renewable resources: targets 5. Investment evaluation: Photovoltaic power plant.
The Business Plan of Solar Power Station
Provodová, Eva ; Srpová, Jitka (advisor) ; Kovačová, Dana (referee)
Within this thesis I elaborated a business project of a solar power station, which could be used both as a decision tool for realization or non-realization of this project in practice and as the documentation for an application for a bank loan. The thesis consists of two main parts: the theoretical and application part. The theoretical part describes the structure of the business project and the principles for its setup. The application part contains the real business project of the solar power station.
