New Approaches in Numerical Aeroelasticity Applied in Aerodynamic Optimization of Elastic Wing

This thesis deals with the design and implementation of a communication interface for an autonomous mobile robot, which is designed for watering plants. The theoretical part is a search for possible ways of communication with the ROS system, which runs on the robot. Subsequently, the possibilities of designing a mobile application for interaction with this robot are explored. In the practical part, a communication interface is designed using the MQTT protocol together with the implementation of this interface into a robot, database server and mobile application, which is created using the Flutter framework. The conclusion of the work discusses the suitability of the communication protocol used and the evaluation of the functionality of the created system.
Mobile Application for Scheduling Activities at Summer Camps
Holub, Ondřej ; Martiček, Štefan (referee) ; Češka, Milan (advisor)
The main goal of this thesis is to design and implement a mobile application assisting in scheduling activities at summer camps taking into account the preferences of camp participants. This is done in a way that ensures the minimization of conflicts with respect to user-defined constraints. QR code scanning is used as an effective method of data input. The main process of finding an optimal solution is formalized as a graph colouring problem and is implemented using the branch and bound method. The created system does not require any other device for its functioning, all the necessary calculations are being executed on a mobile phone of the user. This system has significantly accelerated and simplified the process of scheduling activities at summer camps.
Diagnosis of Ventricular Tachycardias from Electrocardiogram
Šrutová, Martina ; Hrubeš, Jan (referee) ; Kolářová, Jana (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is a diagnosis of ventricular tachycardias, fibrillations and flutters from electrocardiogram. These disturbances of heart rate are ranked among the life threatening arrhytmias. This work presents own method of the automatic detection, which is created for the ECG holter monitoring system. The proposed algorithm is based on the detection in the spectral domain, which is supported by the detection in the time domain. The results show the discrimination of arrhytmias from the normal sinus rhythm and the discrimination from the noise. The method is tested with ECG records from the The AHA Database (American Heart Association) and from The MIT-BIH Malignant Ventricular Arrhythmia Database.

Investigation of Transonic Flow through Linear Cascade with Single Blade Incidence Angle Offset
Fürst, J. ; Musil, Josef ; Šimurda, David
The contribution deals with numerical and experimental investigation of the effect of incidence angle offset in a two-dimensional section of a flat linear blade cascade in a high-speed wind tunnel. The aim of the work is to complement ongoing research of quasi-stationary approximation of aerodynamic flutter by examination of setups leading to transonic flow regimes. The numerical simulations were realized by finite-volume, in-house code developed on top of the open-source software package OpenFOAM. The experiments were conducted in correspondence with the setting of numerical simulations. The comparison of experimental and numerical data is presented on the isentropic Mach number distributions at various locations in the blade cascade. The description of transonic flow structures in the vicinity of blades is also provided.
