Integration of Elasticsearch Technology into the ERP System K2

This thesis focuses on the integration of Elasticsearch search engine technology into the ERP system of czech company K2 Software s.r.o. This integration deals with both the connection of the system with this technology and its configuration and management through the K2 client application interface. The search engine capabilities are then used in the existing filtering and search mechanism as well as in the autocomplete and global search across the entire system functions. The output of this work is functional and has been deployed in the production version of the K2 system.
Face Anti-Spoofing with Out-of-distribution Detection

This thesis aims to improve the accuracy of Vision Transformer-based face anti-spoofing models in detecting presentation attacks. The thesis uses out-of-distribution detection to filter out images that are too different from the training data, referred to as in-distribution. It examines how successful different methods are in identifying different data distributions, and how the filtering of out-of-distribution data based on these methods affects the accuracy of the model. Using the relative Mahalanobis distance, an AUROC of 97.6% can be achieved when distinguishing between in-distribution and out-of-distribution data. Filtering out images that should not be classified increases the accuracy of all tested models to over 99.9%. This can provide an additional layer of security for applications against face spoofing attacks.
Continuous Localization of a Mobile Robot Based on an Aggregation of Data from Different Positioning Systems

The main goal of this thesis is to create an application, which will receive and aggregate data from position systems (sensors) and then estimate the most likely position of the robot. The solution will be an application that will be implemented in language (C++) and will be using robot operating system (ROS). This application will perform whole process of aggregation and estimation. The Extended Kalman filter will be used for filtering noise from data.
Component Filter for .NET WinForms

This bachelor thesis focuses on the design and the implementation of a component allowing to filter data. These are in most occasions organised using a database. This can be stored localy at a client, or on a server. The component supports both types of storage. If the database is stored on a server, the filtering criteria can be applied on the server itself even before transfering the data to the client. Furthermore the thesis describes a general solution of the problem and a specific implementation. The component is developped in the C# language for running environment .NET. All the parts of the application, including the graphic user interface, are designed and described with regard to an easy use and expansibility.
BEHAVIOR OF THE CONCRETE-TO-CONCRETE INTERFACE WITHOUT SHEAR REINFORCEMENT

Doctoral thesis focuses on behavior of the interface between two concrete layers cast at different times and without shear reinforcement. By means of both experimental and numerical analysis, some of the factors affecting interface strength have been assessed. Namely, surface roughness and suitability of different roughness parameters used for its characterization, effects of overlay mechanical properties and collateral effects of surface preparation methods. Also, different tests to assess interface strength have been investigated in detail and mutually compared. The most suitable roughness parameters have been chosen, based on its overall stability. Correlation between mean texture depth and other parameters have been defined. Results of the experimental program intended to further investigate abovementioned effects on interface strength, led to proposition of extended semi quantitative design approach and introduction of coefficient of surface preparation. Based on the extensive experimental program, correlation between different test setups, including its main advantages and disadvantages, has been presented, together with roughness characterization and failure envelope of the dimpled interface.
Filtering of Texts Extracted from PDF, OCR or Web

The objective of this thesis is to implement a set of scripts to improve the transfer of various types of documents into fully text. There appears noise and not entirely correct character conversion by converting various file formats. These scripts extracted text file cleans so that the resulting text is readable, make sense and does not contain any residues of various characters appearing by the transfer of graphs, tables, formulas, etc. The script works universally and does not require input solely by OCR tools or converting from PDF or web.

Sources, identification and removal of ChIP-seq artifacts

Chromatin immunoprecipitation is used to enrich DNA sequences that are associ- ated with a protein of interest, and is used to map those sequences to the genomic regions. Studying these DNA-protein binding regions provides an understanding of gene regulation and chromatin remodeling. However, some signals in fact rep- resent no binding event and are known as false positives. This thesis discusses the main sources of false-positive signals that commonly arise during ChIP-seq analysis, and offers possible solutions on how to minimize or filter them.
