Use of torch oscillation for butt and fillet weld welding of high-strength steels using the MAG method
Umlauf, Petr ; Slováček, Marek (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
The first part of the thesis deals with the research on high-strength steels, their structural effects, weldability, metal transfer methods and common weld defects occurring in these steels. In the practical part, an experiment is designed to investigate the effect of weaving on butt and fillet welds, two specimens are prepared for each type of weld, one with weaving and the other control without weaving. The macrostructure, microstructure, hardness was evaluated on the specimens and tensile test was performed on the butt joint and a fracture test was performed on the fillet joint.
Multi-storey building for administrative purposes
Lehocký, Peter ; Melcher, Jindřich (referee) ; Karmazínová, Marcela (advisor)
This bachelors thesis deals with design of administrative building adjacent to a metalworking shed. The administrative building is statically independent on metalwork shed. Building is located in Brno. Floor plan of building is in shape of letter L. Axis distance of columns is 9m longitudinal and 7,5m transverse. Total length of building is 27m longitudinal and 15m transverse ( distance is measured between axis of columns). In narrow part of transverse is width of the building 7,5m. Ceiling is made of composite steel-concrete structure. Height of the building is 18,7m.
Hall for Metal Production with Administrative Building
Kaňok, Vojtěch ; Melcher, Jindřich (referee) ; Karmazínová, Marcela (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design of a metalworking shed with its adjacent administrative center. Both objects are statically independent. The buildings are located in the town of Bučovice. The dimensions of the shed are 54,78x72,58 m. There is an overhead crane situated in the middle wing. The shed‘s height is +11,62 m. The administrative building has L-shaped plan. Its dimensions are 27,62x8,13 m (the wider part is 15,63 m). The design of the administrative object has two variants. Both variants have composite steel-concrete ceiling structure. The heights of the objects are +11,20 m (A variant) and +18,20 m (B variant). For the A variant, drawings were also drawn up with the design and assessment of structural details and anchoring.
The Three Aisled Storage Building
Šramota, Petr ; Bajer,, Miroslav (referee) ; Buchta, Stanislav (advisor)
The main aim of this bachelor thesis is designing free-aisled manufacturing hall situated in Frýdek-Místek. In the proposition is solved variantion with central nave wide 12 m conncted to outer naves wide 9,0 m. Total lenght is 120 m. Support system of the central and outer naves is formed by lattice cross-links, which are composed rolling section saved on fixed columns. The calculation was done through the use of SCIA Engineer 2008 program andy by myself alone.
Construction of hydraulic wood-splitting machine
Šimčík, Jaroslav ; Opl, Miroslav (referee) ; Matějka, Petr (advisor)
Bc. Jaroslav Simcik Construction of hydraulic wood-splitting machine DP, Institute of production machines, systems and robotics, 2010, p. 60, fig. 30, appendices 7, This master ´s thesis is concerned with the wood-processing technology with a focus on the construction of hydraulic wood splitter machine with a force 120 kN.
Comparison of the welding productivity MAG and FCAW
Kutil, Petr ; Sigmund, Marian (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis is focused on arc welding with MAG and FCAW methods. The first part contains a brief description of these technologies. Emphasis is laid on the principle of arc welding in active shielding gas and on additional materials, especially on solid and flux-cored tubular wires. The second, experimental part, centres on the comparison of MAG (135) and FCAW (136 and 138) methods in terms of the productivity, costs and, last but not least, the quality of fillet welds made in PF welding position. Based on the calculated and measured figures obtained from the experiment, the most suitable method for the given welding position was chosen.
Office Centre
Robotka, David ; Štrba, Michal (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with design of steel structure with composite steel-concrete floor structure of a office building. The building is located in Moravský Krumlov. The Office buidling consist of multi-storey building and an entrance atrium. The total ground plan's dimensions are 52,8m x 48,0m. The multi-storey building has 8 floor. The maximum heigh of the building is 25,32m above ground. The project is designed in two options. For winning variant is including check and it is performed a drawings with design and check assembly details and anchorage.
Business Centre
Hándlová, Barbora ; Balázs, Ivan (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with design of steel structure of shopping centre, which is located in Zlín. The total ground plan‘s dimensions of the structure are 153 x 49 m. The maximum height of the building is 23,1 m. The structure of the shopping centre is formed by columns, primary and secondary beams. Floor structure is designed as composite steel and concrete structure. The roof structure, above the central part of the buildig is designed in two alternative versions. There is prepared statics calculation of the main load-bearing parts of the structure, including joints and details.
Comparision of FEM models of joints
Hlaváč, Martin ; Hrůza, Václav (referee) ; Pokorný, Přemysl (advisor)
This thesis deals with the comparison of alternative models of the simplified joints used in the FEM models of complex models with detailed joint details. This is essentially a screw connection with dowel bolt and standard bolt, weld connection "T" and overlap weld connection. Individual connections are compared in the simulation results of matching models.
Analysis of methods of modeling welding process by finite element method
Krakovský, Andrej ; Petruška, Jindřich (referee) ; Vosynek, Petr (advisor)
Presented master thesis deals with computational modelling (simulation) of welding process. Its main goal is to determine the residual stresses and deformations arising after welding. SYSWELD and ANSYS are used for simulation, both based on the finite element method. Specifically, the processes of welding fillet and butt welds are solved. Results from both software are compared with each other and verified by experimental results.
