This bachelor thesis studies impacts of children drug addiction on family. Family, as a subject of my research, is represented as social unit that is negatively influenced by individual drug addiction of one of its child. On the basis of the change in essential family functions, all of possible impacts on family's wellbeing, which are resulting from the drug addiction, are being researched. Impacts of Domestic Violence in family on the Child
HAVRÁNKOVÁ, Iveta
The aim of this bachelor thesis was to find out, based on the study of professional literature and case studies, what negative effects might have domestic violence in the family on children. First are presented the definitions and functions of the family. Subsequently, domestic violence is characterized, with emphasis on children as witnesses as well as direct victims of violent behavior. In this context, the CAN syndrome is described. Particular attention is paid to the effects of violence on children, such as psychological deprivation, post-traumatic stress disorder, a situation where a child takes on an adult role and transgenerational transmission of violence. The theoretical part is followed by qualitative research. I used the method of analysis of documents in the form of case reports from the files of The Department of Social and Legal Protection of Children, where minors were exposed to domestic violence in their families.

The aim is to identify and describe the impacts on families and compare these consequences in the cases of divorce and death. At first this paperwork brings information about family and its peculiarities. Other chapters are devoted to single-parent families as a result of a divorce, and death. In these chapters, we focused on the impacts of these two events. There are described primarily impacts on economic, social, educational and psychological aspects of the family. Information in this chapter are supported by excerpts from interviews that were conducted with several women, who have lost husbands, and thus became the breadwinners. The next chapter is devoted to the role of the state in this issue. It describes how family policy is designed and how the state directly compensates for the loss of a breadwinner in these two cases. The end of this chapter provides a brief description of family policy, focusing on the loss of a breadwinner in several other European Union states. The last chapter provides an analysis of the interviews, and there we can see what are the impacts on the family, which single mothers perceive. And what is the difference in impacts at these two events.
Divorce proceeding for children in the context of gender arrangements in families
KŘÍŽKOVÁ, Zlatuše
In the theoretical part of this work I will explain the basic concepts: the role of women and men in the family, their functions in the formation of gender identity of the children, the effects of divorce disputes in terms of economic, social and mental impact of gender on the children in post-divorce custody. In the empirical part of work I will do research using qualitative methodology. I will also use a semi-standardized interview for data collection and observation as an additional method. I will work with a target group of divorced parents who experienced disputes where the custody of the child was awarded to one of the parents. I will conduct interviews with respondents who live in a small town of up to 50,000 inhabitants. I will be choosing interviewees bearing in mind that the questions will be of a personal and sensitive nature. The first respondents will be selected with and an aim in mind. Then I will proceed using a "snowball technique" in the respondents´ natural environment. All interviews will be carried out in the strictest confidentiality. The result of the qualitative survey of this work will be an in-depth description of the investigated topic "The consequences of divorce disputes for children in the context of gender arrangements in families ," or the hypothesis. In addition, conclusions will be reached on how with hindsight parents should have resolved conflicts to maintain a functional relationship between the child and the other parent.
