The bachelor thesis deals with changes in consumer behaviour when buying food and non-alcoholic beverages. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to identify factors that influence consumer behaviour when buying food and non-alcoholic beverages, identify what factors are influencing consumers today, compare the resulting data with historical studies that have been conducted in this area and propose recommendations for Czech retailers in the food and non-alcoholic beverage market. The data were obtained using quantitative research and were processed in Microsoft Excel and Statistica. The results from the questionnaire survey showed that the factors of necessity, quality and previous experience have the greatest influence on consumers.

Medová, D. Food stocks of Czech households. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel Univer-sity in Brno, 2023. The diploma thesis deals with the characteristics of consumer behaviour re-lated to purchases of food for storage in Czech households. The thesis identifies the food that Czech households buy for storage, where consumers store it, their motivation to stockpile food and factors that influence the size of food stocks. In addition, the amount of consumption and expenses of Czech households for food, the amount of food waste and the most common reasons for throwing away food are listed here too. The characteristic was created using processed primary and secondary data. Primary data were collected through a questionnaire survey (n = 319) and structured interviews (n = 20). Based on the results of this research, recommendations are proposed for traders and consumers that will lead to a re-duction in food waste.

Barančicová, T. Consumer behaviour on the private label market. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2023. The diploma thesis is dealing with consumer behaviour on the private label market. It also focuses on consumer behaviour on the private label food market in the online environment. The goal of the thesis is to identify factors influencing behaviour on the private label market based on the results of the author's own survey and to divide consumers into individual segments with the help of a clus-ter analysis. Two segments resulted in this thesis are conservative consumers and 21st century consumers. Finally the series of recommendations for the supply side of the market is presented. Recommendations include a blind test, a focus on quality, events with free shipping or benefits when paying by card.
Pensioners as a target group for internet food sale

The aim of the bachelor thesis was the evaluation of shopping behaviour of pensioners and their attitude towards buying food via the internet. On the basis of secondary data, it defines shopping behaviour and its approaches. Then the thesis describes factors which have influence on consumer during shopping. It also investigates the decision-making process of the buyer. The next step is the introduction of the term of e-commerce. Subsequently there are advantages and disadvantages of shopping on the internet, trading with food by the internet and the most significant online salesperson of food in the Czech Republic. Then the thesis is focused on the research of buying behaviour of pensioners on the internet. On the basis of marketing research by method of questionnaire survey, the primary data were processed. The data are presented by graphs and tables.

How do differences between roles of men and women influence consumer behavior

The main aim of this thesis is to observe dissimilarities between men and women. My survey is focused on differences among men and women especially in areas of perception of media, spending of free time, relation to some kinds of products and overall position of the men and women in the society. Methods that are used in this thesis are analysis of MML-TGI data, content analysis of television advertisings and interview. Results of all the three methods are summarized and evaluated in the end.
