Development of Aesthetic Perception in the Context of Pre-School Home Education.

Bachelor thesis deals with the problem of development of aesthetic feeling through the creation of art and reception of works of art within the framework of home (or also "individual") education in preschool and younger school age. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the theoretical concept of home education in general, the historical background of home education in the Czech Republic (briefly compared to the situation in other countries) and finally the legislative background of home education in the Czech Republic. It also defines the age categories of pre-school and younger school age and characterizes them. Then the thesis further clarifies the concepts of "aesthetic education" and "aesthetic feeling" and their correspondence with curricular documents for pre-school and primary education. The empirical part presents interviews with parents who educate their children at home. The aim of this research was to gain a deeper insight into the form and structure of aesthetic education focused on the reception and creation of works of art within home education in the Pilsen Region. The aim was to find out what (didactic and material) techniques, tools and methods of creation and presentation of visual art works are used in this type of education. The second aim was to observe specific aspects of the "hidden curriculum" of home preschool aesthetic education in the form of other circumstances that affects the children's reception of artworks (such as a gallery visit etc.). At the end of the empirical part of the thesis is presented a practical proposal for a program of development of aesthetic feeling, intended for children in home education.

The aims of music education with students with special educational needs

In accordance with the topic and title of the dissertation, we dedicate the first chapter of the theoretical part to terms related to the category of pedagogical aim, defining it from the perspective of general pedagogy, music pedagogy and special pedagogy. In the following chapters we continue with analyses of educational programmes, of the concept of aesthetic education, defining the terms "a student with special educational needs" and "a student with disabilities" with subchapters focusing on individual types of disabilities, which are then used in the research part of the work: Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), developmental learning disorders, impaired communication ability, mild mental retardation and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The sixth and final chapter of the first part presents a theoretical definition of aesthetic (music) education in the current educational system, taking into account the issue of musical education of students with special educational needs. The introduction of the research part of the dissertation consists of sections devoted to describing the environment of schools and their students, to the characteristics of school curricula of both institutions, and of a subchapter containing the rationale for selecting students for the research. The Moral Dimension of Aesthetic Experience in the Pragmatic Pedagogy

Concept of pragmatic pedagogy is based on the education by experience, which is essential for an individual's development and for the directing of the individual's abilities. Art provides a form of specific experience based on which you can cultivate cognitive and emotional conditions of value judgments and thus contribute to the moral development of a child. The processes of experiencing, interpreting and evaluating the work of art are based on everyday experience and it relates to both the unique requirements of an individual and the conditions of a certain socio-cultural environment in which he lives.

Project: Pre-school aesthetical education "PAE"

The main topic of this diploma thesis is project called Pre-school aesthetic education "PAE", which is tought at Elementary Art School. In theoretical part are generally explained terms aesthetic, aesthetic education and their brief history, current possibilities of aesthetic education in selected Elementary Art Schools and characteristic of PAE project. Research part focus on acquisition of the project in education at Elementary Art Schools, effectiveness in the selection of artistic field in pre-school age and at least suitability of including this project into the School Education Program of other Elementary Art Schools. For the research were used empirical methods (observations, questionnaire, interviews). Overall results of research are based on comparison and evaluation of the answers from all respondent categories. These results show positive evaluation of PAE, which suitably fills the pre-school period of children with meaningful activities, which are connected with comprehensive development of personality. Shaping a Child in Art Classes in a Small-Classes School

This thesis, in theoretical part, is focused on art education as part of the esthetic education. Than there are presented problems of Small-Class Schools in relation to art class on primary school and the artwork accompanying the development of the child as a character. In the practical part, there are presented the results of the research, which was carried out on the selected case study Small-Class School. In the final part, thesis summarizes the knowledge on the possibilities and peculiarities of art education as part of the education of the pupils at the primary school in the context of the specific condition of the Small-Class School.
