Possibilities of using a photovoltaic system in a family home
Herník, Martin ; Linda, Jakub (referee) ; Toman, Filip (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a photovoltaic power plant that will meet the needs and conditions of a specific family house. The design includes photovoltaic options such as battery and non-battery system solutions. In this work, the selection of appropriate components was made, where the emphasis was on achieving optimum system performance and minimizing costs while maintaining given efficiency and reliability. Finally, the economic evaluation of the two solutions in terms of cost and paybacks is assessed. The final design is proposed in the light of the current energy price situation and the continuous forward movement of PV technology.
Photovoltaic Power Plant Return on Investment Model
Skoupý, Ondřej ; Slavinský, Vojtěch (referee) ; Doubravský, Karel (advisor)
This master thesis focuses on the design of a model for estimating the initial investment cost in constructing a photovoltaic system and assessing its payback. The thesis includes an analysis of the electricity consumption behavior of selected households and an assessment of the critical input parameters necessary for designing the photovoltaic power plant system. Based on the data obtained, a model has been developed, the capabilities of which have been demonstrated in the example and are further discussed within this thesis. The model enables efficient preparation of quotations and payback analyses, which brings significant benefits to streamlining photovoltaic power plant system pricing activities.
Heat pump in cooperation with PV for family house
Drašar, Vojtěch ; Vrána, Michal (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design of a heat pump in cooperation with a photovoltaic system for a family house. The theoretical part describes the principles of the heat pump and the photovoltaic system. The thesis presents the methods of operation of the heat pump, the principles of building cooling, the connection of the PV system to the grid, or the methods of storing excess energy. In the practical part, the consumption of a typical family house has been determined by means of typical supply diagrams. The consumption is based on hourly statistical values for the year 2021. From the obtained values a pump was designed. Another objective of the work was the placement of photovoltaic panels on the roof. The power plant is considered as a hybrid, in order to maximize the consumption of the energy produced and the use of energy at the point of generation. For this, a battery system was also designed. The work includes an energy and economic evaluation, including the payback of the combination. For the economic evaluation, a subsidy from the New Green Savings 2021+ program was considered. The proposed solution has applications in both renovation and new construction, where the emphasis is on minimizing air pollutants and also the use of ecological resources.
Studies on gas microturbine operation
Horník, Jan ; Bobák, Petr (referee) ; Vondra, Marek (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the study of the gas microturbine. Theoretical part makes the reader familiar with gas microturbine. Practical part is focused on its use in the field of industrial laundry. Analytical part includes the design and execution of measurement, which is followed by necessary calculations. On the basis of it is proposed several uses of combustion from microturbine. The final output of this work is financial balance for each of those uses, where can be seen return of the investment.
The impact of executing new thermal insulation on an administrative building in Blansko on the expenses associated with its operation
Kopřivová, Petra ; Bradáč, Albert (referee) ; Čech, Josef (advisor)
The topic of the diploma thesis „ The impact of executing new thermal insulation on an administrative building in Blansko on the expenses associated with its operation“ is a draft and appraisal of four variants of thermal insulation of the building (EPS, EPS G, Mineral wool, Phenolic foam). It deals with an actual building situated in Blansko. All the variants are projected according to the same technical specifications (thermal transmittance) and their thermal parameters, technical parameters and the rate of return have been assessed. The assessed building (The A building) is at rectangular shape. It has six above - ground floors and a basement, it contains mainly administration sites. The construction system is concrete frame, which has curtain wall made of perforated blocks with thickness 250 mm. The building has got reinforced concrete floors, the roofing is made of double-skin roof construction. The supply for heating is a separate gas boiler room.
Determining the amount of economic rent for single-family house in Brno
Kubásek, Petr ; Gardášová, Alena (referee) ; Klika, Pavel (advisor)
The objective of the thesis is to determine the economic rent amount for a family house located in Brno. The concept “economic rent” refers to the amount of payment that brings adequate profit to the landlord. First, all the factors are identified that compose cost rent, i.e. the rent of mere providing and maintaining a property. The main variable is represented by the reproduction value of a dwelling. For the purposes of this thesis, the reproduction value is determined using the cost method (in agreement with the evaluation regulation). Second, the capitalization rate is determined so that an adequate profit could be calculated. The following two methods are employed: the surcharge method and the method of comparison with the financial market. The thesis presents seven alternatives of an economic rent, depending on the interest rates. Lastly, the calculation of the rate of return is performed, along with a correctness test of the calculation of the economic rent amount.
Environmental-friendly heating
Čekanová, Adéla ; Tabasová, Andrea (referee) ; Němec, Zdeněk (advisor)
The subject of thesis is environmental-friendly heating. Theoretical part includes overview of possible ways using alternative energy sources, especially solar energy and energy environment - heat pumps. Partical part is devoted to solution of environmental-friendly heating and heating warm water for family house using solar system. The proposal is documented with economic evaluation and calculation of economic return.
Budisov-Biomass heating plant
Petrovský, Jiří ; Baláš, Marek (referee) ; Fiedler, Jan (advisor)
This dissertation contains a comparison of the real possibilities for heating reconstruction and TUV reheating in three public buildings (located nearby one another) in Budišov township, with resulting recommendations of the best options for local operating conditions. The dissertation contains calculations of heating requirements for particular buildings, a generic theoretical part which summarizes basic data concerning long-term fuels (biomass and natural gas), proposals for technical solutions to heating sourcing concerning these fuels and its prospective distribution from a central boiler house, and its reciprocal comparison from the perspective of the economics of actual realization and operation, and from a perspective of fuel availability and ecology.
