Family coexistence with a disabled person
TOBOLKOVÁ, Barbora
This bachelor thesis deals with the family coexistence with a disabled person. I chose this subject intentionally since I have a very positive relationship with disabled people, especially with mentally handicapped people. The main objective of my thesis is to chart the factors that influence the coexistence with a disabled person. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and explorative part. The theoretical part is divided into four chapters. The first chapter of the theoretical part deals with the problems of disability and its division. The second chapter is focused on mentally handicapped people, in concrete terms on the causes and origins of this disability, classification of each degree of this disability and on the education and training. The third chapter is concentrated on the family that cares for a mentally handicapped person. The parents´ reactions to the birth of a mentally handicapped person, relations between brothers and sisters and the care for a mentally handicapped person are also described here. The last chapter describes the fundamentals and forms of social services. Furthermore, I mentioned the basic social services of which the mentally handicapped people might take advantage. In the research part the goal of the thesis was set and the main research question was formed: "How does the family coexistence influence the care for a disabled person?" In order to answer it one had to use four partial research questions. The strategy of qualitative research containing the method of inquiries and the technique of semi-structured dialogue was selected so that the necessary data could be acquired. From the research it followed that caregivers cope well with the care for a disabled person. Interviewees concur in most cases that they often feel the mental strain. The day care centre for elderly people is the most used social service by the interviewees. The majority of interviewees don´t think that the care for a disabled person will change in the future. The research also established that all the interviewees spend their leisure time with a disabled person. The acquired information might be used as an information material for the lay and professional public.
Leisure healthy siblings and their participation in family life with a sibling with a disability
KUBÍČKOVÁ, Adéla
This diploma thesis deals with the position, leisure time and life of a healthy sibling in a family which takes care of a family member with disabilities. The theoretical part is divided in four chapters, which are aimed at a family, a family with a disabled member, healthy siblings, constellations between siblings, the definition of leisure time, particular developmental psychological characteristics of healthy siblings and disabled siblings and also the actual division of disability. The practical part is based on qualitative research. Due to the semi-structured interviews it attempts to differentiate how the quality of leisure time and especially their own personal life is perceived by healthy siblings themselves.
Mark quality "Work of Disabel"
MICHLÍKOVÁ, Michaela
The aim of this thesis is to identify the current position of the mark of quality "Work of Disabel". Analysis of evaluation criteria and the willingness of companies to participate in the program are related to this aim. The secondary aim is to define the issue of integration of disabled people into the labor market in the Czech Republic and the survey on the level of organizations offering jobs for the disabled people. To achieve the set aims were used the questionnaires that were organized on two levels. The first questionnaire was directed to the holders of trademark "Work of Disabel". The second questionnaire was conducted at the level of companies housed in the South Bohemian and simultaneously companies employing more than 50 % of the disabled. Low awareness of the mark "Work of Disabel" and consequent low interest of potential candidates it has been found through the survey. The evaluation criteria that are necessary for obtaining the license, holders rated as "rather modest". This implies that the current position of the mark "Work of Disabel" is not ideal. Based on this, can recommended: increasing the promotion of the trademark, dock legislatively this trademark or mitigate the financial demands.

Drábek, Tomáš ; Mitáš, Václav (advisor) ; Zelinková, Olga (referee)
UNIVERZITA KARLOVA V PRAZE Husitská teologická fakulta Diplomová práce Possibilites of the social work on the support of the sexual and partnership of disabled people Vedoucí práce: Autor: PhDr. ThDr. Václav Mitáš, Th.D. Bc. Tomáš Drábek Praha 2011 Annotation The author of this thesis concerns the issues of charitable profession workers working with disabled people, in area of sexuality and partnerships. The workers tend to have wide knowledge in many disciplines, but in sexuality, which is so natural and closely related to the quality of life, are not instructed. According to the author, it is necessary to develop social workers' attitude towards sexuality during their professional training, and implicate a different behaviour towards persons with disabilities and their sexuality. Education in area of sexuality as well as disability studies should not be based on theoretical knowledge, but need to be conceived as a process of forming views at fundamental issues in this area. Therefore the aim of this thesis should be to declassify the topic of sexuality and to accept it as a natural part of life for everyone, including individuals with disabilities.
