V úvodních kapitolách diplomové práce s názvem "Dítě se zdravotním postižením v pěstounské péči" jsou vymezeny základní pojmy související s problematikou zdravotního postižení a jsou zde taktéž nastíněny možnosti péče o dítě se zdravotním postižením a jeho rodinu. Další text se podrobně zabývá problematikou náhradní rodinné péče, vymezuje základní funkce rodiny a přibližuje jednotlivé formy náhradní rodinné péče, které se uplatňují v České republice pro zajištění péče o sociálně osiřelé děti. Hlavní část práce pojednává o pěstounské péči, její historii a jednotlivých typech. Podává pohled na současný stav realizace pěstounské péče v České republice a rozebírá proces zprostředkování pěstounské péče s ohledem na dítě s postižením. Výzkumné šetření na základě analýzy rozhovorů seznamuje se zkušenostmi, které během svého života nasbíraly matky-pěstounky, jež přijaly do péče dítě se zdravotním postižením. Práce je uzavřena zhodnocením získaných poznatků a nastíněním možností, jak jich využít pro ty, kteří o realizaci pěstounské péče přemýšlejí a byli by ochotni přijmout i dítě s postižením.Abstract UHLÍŘOVÁ, Markéta. 'Child with Disabilities in Foster Care'. Prague : Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague, 2011. 140 pp. Graduation Thesis. In the opening chapters of the thesis entitled 'Child with Disabilities in Foster Care' are defined basic concepts relating to disability issues and there are also outlined options of care for a child with disabilities and their families. More text in detail deals with foster care, defines the essential functions of the family and describes various forms of foster care, which are applied to provide care for orphaned children socially in the Czech Republic. The main part of work deals with foster care, its history and particular types, given the current state of implementation of foster care in the Czech republic and discusses the process of mediation foster care with regard to the child with disabilities. The survey based on analysis of interviews with the famaliare experience, that has accumulated during their life foster-mothers, who take care to children with disabilities. The work is concluded by an evaluation of lessons learned and outlining ways on how to use them for those, who think about implement of the foster care and they would be willing to accept a child with disabilities.
