Sládková, Veronika ; Hanzl,, Vlastimil (referee) ; Kalvoda, Petr (advisor)
The subject of bachelor’s thesis was creating orthophotomap in the locality of Brno - Slatina. Processing of the entire project was made in software Photomod 4.3, which is a product of Russian company Racurs. For the process of making was neccesary to do aerotriangulation and adjust of aerial photographs, to create a digital model of the relief and from that the resulting orthophotomap. The overall result of the work has been compared with geodetic surveying.
Detection of anthropogenic terrain features in the summit area of the Luční and Studniční hora mountains (Krkonoše) with use of airborne laser scanning data
Krusová, Anna ; Lysák, Jakub (advisor) ; Potůčková, Markéta (referee)
The thesis focuses on detection of micrographic features using airborne laser scanning data. The aim of the thesis is to propose a novel method for detecting terrain features and to identify and describe terrain objects corresponding to anthropogenic interventions in the arctic-alpine tundra region in the summit area of the Luční and Studniční hora mountains in the Krkonoše Mountains. Based on existing studies, a new detection method of specific micrographic features was proposed by combining two types of data, i.e. point cloud and its raster representation. Initially, polygon approximations of terrain objects were derived from a digital terrain model, and their spatial delineation was further refined locally using point clouds. The output provides the most complete and accurate polygon delineation of the terrain features to date, considering the available data, the specific characteristics of the area, and in comparison to previously conducted studies. The proposed algorithm has identified hundreds of additional terrain features compared to the reference data. However, this number includes false positive features, which need to be manually eliminated. Key words: airborne laser scanning, micrographic features detection, archaeological prospection, digital terrain model, local relief model, Krkonoše...
Verification of the "Čirá - Kopanina" fault existence using morphostructural analysis and geophysical surveying
Findžová, Leona ; Tábořík, Petr (advisor) ; Kašing, Martin (referee)
This thesis focuses on the verification of the Čirá-Kopanina fault existence using morphostructural analysis and geophysical surveying. The verification of the fault zone was based on the analyses of the digital relief model, river network parameters and selected relief features that indicate tectonic activity with a high probability. Based on these analyses, the fault was identified and subsequently verified using geophysical methods. The searched tectonic line passes through the village of Čirá in the Jindřichovice upland district (Krušné hory Mts), continues east of the village of Kopanina and heads south into the Cheb Basin along the Libocký Brook. The direction of the Čirá-Kopanina fault was determined as approximately north-south (348ř - 168ř) and thus corresponds to the north-south orientation of the hypocentres of the West Bohemian earthquake swarms. The Čirá-Kopanina fault zone could thus be a potential source area for the earthquake swarms at the boundary of the Cheb Basin and the Krušné hory Mts. crystalline complex. However, its activity needs to be verified by a further research. Keywords fault, tectonics, digital elevation model, morphostructural analysis, geophysical surveying, Jindřichovice uplands, Krušné hory Mountains
Possibilities of remote geomorphological mapping of dolines in the conditions of the Bohemian Karst
Hochmanová, Lucie ; Křížek, Marek (advisor) ; Uxová, Tereza (referee)
The study of karst areas is important for the inventory of local forms and their subsequent protection. The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to create a database and determine the morphometric characteristics of dolines in the protected landscape area of the Czech Karst above DEM 5G and to evaluate the possibilities of remote mapping of these karst forms. The mapping was based on training data from the Moravian Karst, but the morphometry was found to be different from the dolines in the Czech Karst. A total of 74 dolines were found, of which 58 were mapped on DEM 5G and 16 were added from the literature. Average values of morphometric characteristics were found for length 30.34 m, width 18.65 m, depth 2.57 m and circularity 0.663. Half of them show a linear arrangement and an elongated oval shape, which may indicate a continuity with the fractures. The majority of all mapped dolines form clusters on Devonian limestones in the northwestern area of the Bohemian Karst Protected Landscape Area. As a result, two map outputs with possible locations of dolines and a database with morphometric characteristics are available. Keywords: doline, Bohemian Karst Protected Area, digital elevation model, remote sensing mapping
Geodetic survey of the longitudinal profile of the selected cycle path and its comparison with other altimetry sources
NYIRI, Filip
This diploma thesis compares different geodetic measurement techniques, digital 1G surface model and digital relief models 4G, 5G with contour lines from the ZABAGED database, on a segment of the cycle path near the village Purkarec. One of the work objectives is to validate the quality of the altimetry accuracy of individual DMR when it is possible to verify the precision and reliability of individual technical reports based on calculations and statistical methods. Another objective is to compare own ground measurements and the application of altimetry analysis available on the ČÚZK website.
Application of airborne laser scanning in forests
Sedláčková, Oldřiška ; Potůčková, Markéta (advisor) ; Lysák, Jakub (referee)
Application of airborne laser scanning in forests Abstract The main aim of this work is to determine a laser pulse penetration through forest stands according from airborne laser data acquired at the beginning of a vegetation growth. Another goal is to evaluate different methods of mean tree height determination. In the first part the technology of airborne laser scanning (ALS) and its application in forest inventory is introduced. The use of ALS data for generating digital terrain models in forested areas is evaluated. A project of a new digital elevation model of the Czech Republic is introduced. Furthermore, methods of data processing are described and characterization of areas of interest in Dobruska and Sobotka is done. Comparison of a laser pulse penetration through different forest types and evaluation of a suitable method for mean tree height determination are main outputs of this work. Keywords: airborne laser scanning, digital terrain model, laser pulse penetration, mean tree height.

Holman, Lukáš ; Lysák, Jakub (advisor) ; Dušánek, Petr (referee)
DTM Improvement in Sandstone Cliffs Relief using precise Co-registration of Airborne Laser Scanning Data Abstract The topic of this thesis is to design innovation of methodology improvement of digital terrain models from airborne laser scanning data in sandstone rocks rugged relief. Theoretical part of this thesis presents the Project GeNeSiS and New Elevation Model Project of the Czech Republic Territory, in which the test datasets were acquired. Simultaneously this section describes in detail methods of co-registrations datasets from strip adjustment to 3D least squares matching method, which have been published until now. In practical part of the work the Pravčická brána model region is introduced firstly. The focus of this section lays on description of new methodology for co-registration and classification of point clouds using spatial query. Co-registration of point clouds, respective detection transform parameters in this thesis is solved by introducing ground control areas. For each such region displacement and rotations in each axis are detected which subsequently determines the global transformation key. Innovation of the thesis lies in the fact that for DTM improvement there is sufficient only one point cloud. The second (and possibly others) point cloud is classified by presented algorithm...
