Design and Deployment of Information System for Management of Hardware
Eliáš, Filip ; Nguyen, Filip (referee) ; Neuwirth, Bernard (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused at design and deployment of information system for management of hardware in Czech branch office of Red Hat. Design is based on analysis of current state, in which were revealed all flaws of current information system. Upon design of the information system, particular emphasis was placed on compliance of all requirements that should be met by information system. Part of the thesis is selection of appropriate method and process for deployment of information system.
MV Overhead Line Protections and their Coordination with Autoreclosers
Šoustal, Petr ; Skala, Petr (referee) ; Orságová, Jaroslava (advisor)
The aim of this Master’s Thesis is to describe protections for overhead lines in distribution networks. Here are described requirements for the protection and the basic protections. Protections are divided according to their protective function. For each protection is given its use and its power plans. It is stated in the work setting of protection in the real network. On this network is simulated place with short-circuit and described the action of protection. The work also deals with the coordination of protection with automatic circuit breakers. This chapter shows that, given the selectivity is not possible to deploy two or more reclosers (remotely-operated switches) to the core network management. The next chapter describes two representatives reclosers available on the Czech market OSM 27 and GVR 27. Chapter describes and compares their performance characteristics. Conclusion the work includes a proposal protected the lead in incorporating automatic circuit breakers (remotely operated circuit breakers and reclosers). The proposal is based on two different levels of annual number of interruptions and duration of annual general interruption of electricity supply. For these levels the company EGÚ Brno, a.s. proposed several variants of the use of remote-controlled in terms of reducing the cost of the penalty. Our task was to choose a variant that would be applicable in the real network. Reducing costs is feasible only in the limits Ln = 6 failures / year and Lt = 720 min / year, where the selected option No. 4. The limits Ln = 8 failures / year and Lt = 1,080 min / year, not in the real network may no option in terms of selectivity.
Obecní fórum - design and deployment of web application
Hamouz, Ondřej ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (advisor) ; Fortinová, Jana (referee)
Thesis is focused on design and implementation of web application called Obecní fórum. The goal is to create a business case for this project, application design and to implement the entire application and place it on a public webhosting with on-site configuration for life publishing. Application design is based on a structure of MMDIS methodology, created by the Department of Information Technologies at the University of Economics, Prague. Implementation is based on web technologies, such as PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Ajax.
Tools for database schemas migration
Hubík, Petr ; Chlapek, Dušan (advisor) ; Tomášková, Barbora (referee)
This thesis deals with finding appropriate tools for automatized migration of database schemas, setting benchmarks of these tools and their testing. Research has been done on thesis regarding to similar topics, followed by setting criteria for tool choosing and defining evaluations criteria. These evaluation criteria are then applied to the searched tools and based on these criteria are applied test of functionality. Recommendations for implementation in practice for best rated tool has been writen up and these recommendations has been checked on case study.
The quality management system in the selected company
MAŘÍKOVÁ, Iveta
This thesis deals with the international standards ISO. Specifically, a description of the implementation of EN ISO 9001:2008 in the selected business. The application of ISO standards in the company has led to an improvement and more importantly to greater accuracy in communication between employees. The result is a reduction of errors and thus the claims which has a positive economic impact on business. Another advantage is providing feedback within business operations. This helps to enhance the quality of production management. You can easily trace the errors and use them to define some precautions in order to prevent these and future errors. The most negative feature in the application of ISO standards is the increase of administration which, after stabilization of standards during normal operation, declined, however is still higher than before the application of these standards. Generally speaking, the application of ISO standards has been beneficial for the company. It should also be noted that not all employees received an increase in administration without problems. Proven results in the production and reduction in the number of defective products speak in favor of applied standards.
Tourism in the EU: economic importance, deployment and current trends
Rumpíková, Kateřina ; Vošta, Milan (advisor) ; Kašpar, Václav (referee)
The presented thesis deals with the issue of tourism in the European Union with emphasis on its economic importance, deployment and current trends that can be identified in this sector. Its aim is to assess the issue of tourism in the EU from a different perspective than it is usual in the literature devoted to this topic, and try to find answers to several questions, including whether the economic importance of tourism is really as great within the EU as it is often attributed to this sector, or how tourism is deployed in the EU. The basis for answering these and other questions is the analysis of a number of indicators over the last two decades. In terms of current trends in tourism, attention is paid to trends in demand and supply and the issue of sustainable tourism development.
Deployment of applications in PHP
Zikmund, Štěpán ; Pavlíček, Luboš (advisor) ; Burkoň, Lukáš (referee)
This work deals with automated deployment of web appliactions in PHP. There is not any wide used standard tool for deploying of web application wrote in PHP. That is way the main objective of work is to create automated and universal solution which can be used for application with various database systems or frameworks. For purpose of design this tool I describe at the beginning of this work individual components of web application. It is source code of application, HTML templates and CSS, grafic files, data and database schema. Next I write about posibilities of uploading application to server. This chapter is based on Sharar Evron's talk at conference ZendCon 2010 named Best Practices in PHP deployment. For individual components of application I try to find specific steps which are necessary or usefull to do during application deployment. It is e.g. JavaScript and CSS files minification, database schema modification or secure data injecting in application's configuration files. In fourth and fifth chapter I write about implementation of these steps and connection them in process of application deployment and rollback. For this implementation I use tool Phing.
A survey of ECM deployment in organizations operating in Slovakia
Nemček, Sebastian ; Kunstová, Renáta (advisor) ; Benáčanová, Helena (referee)
My bachelor thesis is dedicated to the topic of ECM deployment in organizations operating in the Slovak Republic. The goal is to characterize a market environment in Slovakia with respect to availability of different ECM products and legislation, to carry out a survey between public and private sector organizations and subsequently analyze and to compare obtained information with the state of the ECM industry in the world represented by the AIIM reports. In the introductory part of the thesis I am presenting the basic theoretical surroundings, the component approach, characteristics of an ECM suite and benefits of ECM deployment for an organization. In the next part I am describing the availability of ECM products and some legislative directives of the Slovak market environment linked to ECM. This is followed by a part which presents information about survey, how it was realised and its demographics. Obtained data is then described and presented graphically. Similar approach is used to compare the data with organizations in the world.
