Company Security Outline and Long Distance Connection Scheme

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the analysis of the security measures and remote access of the company. On the basis of this analysis it‘s boundaries have been defined, the individual assets, security threats and risks have been identified and current security measures evaluated. In the practical part of the thesis, I’m going to propose suggestions for improvement of the measurements. These measures should help the company with the protection of the assets and lower the risks of damage.

The introductory part of this thesis focuses on the theoretical background of information security, based on the series of standards ISO/IEC 27000. In the practical part, based on the application of theoretical knowledge, there is formulated a proposal of recommended steps health care facilities should take to compliance with the principles of information security.

In introductory part of the thesis I explore the theorethical backround of data backup and data management. Next part is dedicated to analysis of current state and investor requierements. Last part is aimed to implementation of new backup plan with focusing on economic and quality point of view. Besides concept and realization of backup plan the concept of the backup directive is created .
Security of mobile devices running Android in a corporate environment

The thesis deals with the security of the Android operating system. Firstly, it describes the basic architecture of the system and the security mechanisms we can find in this system, namely Linux kernel, application sandboxing, and application permissions. In the second part, it describes threats and attacks on the Android devices. Describes the risks to which the users are exposed and the impact on the device, user, and data security. For each threat and attack, the way the device can be compromised is mentioned. Threats and attacks are rated using CVSS. It also deals with Android updates. The last section describes applications that can be used to manage and secure Android mobile devices primarily in the corporate environment. There are described features of these applications and against what threats or attacks provide protection. Furthermore, there are examples of such applications. The thesis also provides a laboratory task that is created to demonstrate the mobile device management systems that are used in the corporate environment. Also, study material is created in the form of presentation for both lecture and self-study.

The bachelor thesis on Data Backup and Data Warehouse is focused on ways of backing up data and its practical use in a detailed proposal for BPM Sport s.r.o., which deals with the sale of sport accessories. At the beginning of the thesis are presented the theoretical starting points related to this issue, namely the analysis of backup and archiving, analysis of carriers for backup and archiving. The second part deals with the analysis of the current state of backup in the chosen company. Synthesis occurs in the following chapters, there are several ways to solve the current state of backup in the company based on the findings. The last chapter - the discussion, contains the evaluation of the results and the determination of the concrete solution.

Autonomous Vehicles Liability Insurance Abstract The diploma thesis is focused on the issue of autonomous vehicles and its liability insurance as it is a very current topic, as evidenced by extensive discussions across the professional and lay public. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the currently existing legal framework at national, EU and international level and to clarify whether the current legal framework is sufficient for the operation of autonomous vehicles. The liability insurance system itself and the principles of its operation are also analysed with regard to their suitability for autonomous transportation. Where deficiencies are identified, de lege ferenda considerations are outlined, and expected changes as well as appropriate solutions are identified. In addition, the diploma thesis provides a meaningful introduction to the principles of autonomous vehicles and discusses other areas closely related to liability insurance for damage caused by the operation of autonomous vehicles. The Role of Privacy in Forming the European Union's Normative Power through Regulation

The question of privacy has long been an integral part of the debate on human rights and fundamental values, which national governments should ensure. The rapid technological development of last decades brought the topic of privacy protection even more to display mainly because of the rising digital economy and new challenges that are connect with it. This thesis discusses the role of privacy, as a fundamental right, in forming the European Union's role as a global power, specifically, the thesis builds on two theories: The Normative Power Europe and The Brussels Effect. Digital economy of the European Union has been growing exponentially over the last two decades. Given the increased importance of the digital economy since the 1990s the European Union started to gradually implement laws to regulate the flow of the personal data online. These new regulations often had influence on global markets and big tech companies operating on the European single market but residing outside of Europe. Apart from analyzing the development of the European data protection laws, and the role that was played by the European Courts in forming the European global power, the thesis overviews the debate surrounding the incentives to introduce new regulations to protect the right private life of European citizens.

Kylie McCardel This thesis will discuss the impacts of whistleblower Edward Snowden from his 2013 leaks of confidential documents to global media. In context of these leaks, this thesis will seek to determine the resulting changes and advancements made in the field of whistleblowing, as well as highlight other important whistleblowers in primarily American history to demonstrate the importance of their actions over the years for legislative change. Additionally, this thesis will also examine how corporations and private citizens have reacted to the Snowden revelations, with emphasis on the corporations' reactions following several major events in American society, as these entail the potential data leak from private devices.
