The thesis deals with the technology of laser cutting. The beginning is concerned with a general description of laser technology and laser division into basic groups. Next part refers to possible industrial use of laser beam, especially for cutting. Other chapters deal with the components suitable for the manufacture of this technology, technical preparation of production and the proposal to increase manufacturing flexibility when changing products. The last part is devoted to technical and economic evaluation.

On the basis of this analysis is proposed further recommendation for optimalization of project planning in custom Manufacturing whose creating was the main content this master’s thesis.

Accuracy of engineering products in manufacturing

The bachelor thesis deals with the precision of engineering products in high-volume custom manufacturing. Engineering metrology has undergone significant innovations in recent decades to unify the evaluation approaches of quality and accuracy of engineering products. The main contribution of the thesis is a proposal for the implementation of new procedures in the quality control process in the company. To justify the introduction of the new philosophies into the existing processes used in the collaborating company, the thesis includes experiments in which the differences between the old and new approaches are compared. Based on the evaluation of the experiments, measures suitable for implementation are recommended.

Information flows custom manufacturing project management in cooperation of two companies

The thesis is focused on system design of information flows. These flows contribute to coordination of transmission of orders between companies Melecs ETS s.r.o. and Melecs SWL GmbH & CO KG. In the theoretical part are included theories of production management of custom manufacturing, project management, information flows and business process modeling. In the practical part is characterized company Melecs ETS s.r.o. The analytical part contains an analysis of the information flows and documentation of orders and production process. The outcomes represent the bottlenecks in the information flows and their causes. Based on the analysis of flows and their bottlenecks is designed the standardized system of information flows in orders transmission.

This bachelor thesis deals with evaluation of the costing system of the company SV Metal Ltd. The theoretical part focuses on summarization of present day knowledge in the field of management accounting concerning costing in custom manufacturing with heterogeneous production. The practical part describes in detail actual costing system of the company and its various methods of cost allocation. Based on result of observation some alternative solutions and minor improvements are suggested to increase the usability of data from costing system.
