Specifics of the preparation of kindergarten teachers to work with children of the same-sex parents

This bachelor thesis focuses on the specifics of preparing kindergarten teachers to work with children of same-sex parents, especially for teachers who have experience with children from this type of family arrangement. At the same time, it compares several types of families, describes the needs of children in the preschool period, focuses on communication between the family and the kindergarten and the possibilities for further training of kindergarten teachers in the area of working with children from homoparental families. The theoretical part is devoted to the topic of the family and its function, describing the differences between complete and incomplete families and presenting alternative forms of family cohabitation, including same-sex families. It discusses the areas of family formation, parental roles and societal attitudes towards them. It also characterises the pre-school child in terms of developmental psychology, with an emphasis on the social element. There is also reference to legislation defining the difference between marriage and civil partnership. Communication between the family and the preschool is another area in which ways of interacting with the child and parents are described, including those relating to same-sex families. Taking responsibility for one's own learning by primary school learners

The author tries to bring readers closer to the year-long process in which pupils take their educational journey into their own hands. The aim of the diploma thesis is to explore the system of interconnected and supporting steps that contribute to the efficiency of the entire process. In the theoretical part, the author focuses on the main components of the entire system, which support the resulting efficiency and the fulfillment of the goal, their implementation and evaluation with pupils. In the second, empirical part, the author describes, compares and evaluates individual systems at several different schools. In this part, a separate teacher-parent- pupil consultation itself is also evaluated. Collaboration with the family in the program Start together in a pandemic situation

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of cooperation between a school and a family during a pandemic. The theoretical part characterizes the "Začít spolu" program, which is based on the cooperation with the family. It presents the Standards of the program, in which it focuses on the area of Family and community. It deals with distance learning and compares the possible forms of communication and cooperation in the full-time form of teaching and also during distance teaching. The practical part of the thesis deals with qualitative and quantitative research, carried out through in-depth interviews and survey, which aims to find out how and in what way the pandemic affected the cooperation of a school and a family and what do the teachers and parents take from it in their future cooperation. Comparison of Family and Kindergarten's Cooperation in conception of main educational stream and of Step by Step

The author compares approaches to co-operation with the family as applied in mainstream kindergartens and alternative kindergartens with the Step by Step programme. The thesis aims to determine the extent to which the forms and intensity of communication and co-operation between family and kindergarten differ depending on the kindergarten's educational programme, and identify the strengths and weaknesses of mutual communication. In the theoretical section, the author outlines the importance of co-operation between family and kindergarten for the development of preschool children, the possible forms of such co-operation and the rules laid down by applicable legal regulations and curricular documents, and describes how this co- operation is understood in the Step by Step programme. In the empirical section, the author uses a mixed research strategy combining quantitative and qualitative research to answer the research questions. Data for the research were collected through a questionnaire survey, where the respondents included teachers and parents of children attending selected Prague-based mainstream kindergartens and kindergartens with the Step by Step programme.
