Autorka ve své práci porovnává přístupy ke spolupráci s rodinou v pojetí mateřských škol hlavního vzdělávacího proudu a alternativních mateřských škol s programem Začít spolu. Cílem práce je zjistit, do jaké míry se formy a intenzita komunikace a spolupráce liší či shodují v závislosti na vzdělávacím programu, a identifikovat silné a slabé stránky vzájemné komunikace. V teoretické části autorka nastiňuje důležitost spolupráce rodiny a mateřské školy pro rozvoj dítěte předškolního věku, možné formy této spolupráce, zásady vyplývající z platných právních předpisů a kurikulárních dokumentů a popisuje, jak je tato spolupráce chápána v programu Začít spolu. V empirické části autorka k zodpovězení výzkumných otázek použila smíšenou výzkumnou strategii kombinující kvantitativní a kvalitativní výzkum. Data shromáždila metodou dotazníkového šetření, kdy respondenty byli pedagogové a rodiče dětí navštěvujících vybrané mateřské školy hlavního vzdělávacího proudu a mateřské školy s programem Začít spolu v Praze. Z výzkumu vyplynulo, že formy komunikace a spolupráce mezi rodinou a mateřskou školou v hlavním vzdělávacím proudu a v programu Začít spolu se významněji neliší, ale intenzita komunikace a spolupráce, byť obecně poměrně vysoká, je v rámci programu Začít spolu vyšší. The author compares approaches to co-operation with the family as applied in mainstream kindergartens and alternative kindergartens with the Step by Step programme. The thesis aims to determine the extent to which the forms and intensity of communication and co-operation between family and kindergarten differ depending on the kindergarten's educational programme, and identify the strengths and weaknesses of mutual communication. In the theoretical section, the author outlines the importance of co-operation between family and kindergarten for the development of preschool children, the possible forms of such co-operation and the rules laid down by applicable legal regulations and curricular documents, and describes how this co- operation is understood in the Step by Step programme. In the empirical section, the author uses a mixed research strategy combining quantitative and qualitative research to answer the research questions. Data for the research were collected through a questionnaire survey, where the respondents included teachers and parents of children attending selected Prague-based mainstream kindergartens and kindergartens with the Step by Step programme.
