Bachelor thesis is focused on the designing of the strategy (recommendation) for the support of weekend stays in Brno. The theoretical part concentrates on tour-ism, tourism marketing, strategic marketing and marketing mix. In the practical part is an analysis of the current state of attendance in Brno, revealing profile of present-day visitor. The thesis also includes an analysis of current offers of week-end stays. Based on the findings is designed strategy with regard to the typical segments and different seasons, including a proposal of weekend packages for the segments, including promotion. The conclusion contains evaluation and recom-mendations for the city of Brno in the future.
Communication strategy of the town Roudnice nad Labem

This thesis describes the theoretical concepts of the communication process, especially with a focus on the general public and media in the public administration environment. Based on the definition of the municipal marketing environment and the theory of communica- tion strategies of municipalities, the specificities of small and medium-sized municipalities are approached. Theoretical knowledge attempts to apply to the environment of the small town of Roudnice nad Labem. The result is an unconventional insight into the functioning of communication in public administration and recommendations for its improvement in the chosen city, as well as other comparable municipalities. Municipal Marketing

The diploma thesis deals marketing of the city Tábor. The aim of the thesis is to make an analysis of the current state, to evaluate the use of its cultural potential for marketing, to identify possible shortages with which the city deals with as the part of its marketing activities and to make possible proposals. The thesis also points out possibility to use marketing in public administration area. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with basic terms related to urban marketing and it also serves as a basis for introduction the topic of urban marketing. The practical part evaluates the current position using e.g. SWOT analysis or an analysis of individual tools of marketing mix. There were also made proposals based on these performed analyses.
Analysis of city marketing in selected cities of the Moravian-Silesian region

Presented diploma thesis deals with the issue of territorial marketing in the Czech Republic, focusing primarily on the city marketing. The main aim of this work is to determine the current position of city marketing in the cities in Moravian-Silesian Region and compare tools that cities use. The research, which is part of this work, took place in 2014 and 2015. A semi- structured interview aimed to find out whether they are nowadays responsible workers from among city leaders familiar with the theory of city marketing and how they work with each of its types. Major emphasis in this research was put on marketing of investment opportunities, promoting tourism, but also the feelings of competition and threat among the surrounding towns. It was proved that the city in the Moravian-Silesian region with the concept of city marketing usually work, even though it is often called by other names. Currently cities seek marketing activities to attract new investors and promote tourism with an emphasis on events marketing. Communication activities of the Pilsen city during period of realization project Pilsen - European capital of culture 2015

The aim of this thesis is to analyse and evaluate the communication strategy of Pilsen city, respectively to analyse the non-profit corporation Pilsen 2015, which relates to the preparation and implementation of the project "Pilsen - European Capital of Culture 2015". Framework of my thesis has been defined by two reference periods. The first one is the candidacy period, which starts from September 2007 (when the City Council approved the intention that Pilsen city would compete for the title of European Capital of Culture 2015), until the publication of the results in September 2010. The second period has started with Pilsen victory in the competition and lasts until now (until the end of the month April 2015). The main focus of the work is based on the communication towards the inhabitants of the city of Pilsen and the region. Firstly a theoretical concept of city marketing is described. The thesis focuses on the analysis of the basic documents of the city development, which are closely related to the EHMK. The next section presents a historical development of the project and the process for selecting the cities as well as the circumstances of the project preparation and subsequent candidacy and the basic vision and goals in the application for the competition. Marketing of Soběslav

The diploma thesis analysis marketing of the town Soběslav. The main goal is to analyze perception of tourism and tourism offer in the town Soběslav from the point of view of residents, surroundings and transitors. Minor goal is to create a project to support cultural and tourism offer in the town Soběslav. The first part of the diploma is dedicated to the marketing analysis of the town. In the second part of diploma is conducted research, the results of which are used for creation of the project. Within the project in the third part of diploma are designed particular tourism activities and proposed marketing measures to support promotion and awareness of the residents. The final chapters of the diploma deal with conditions for project realization.

Commercial communications of Kutná Hora and their perspective

Kutná Hora is a beautiful historical city and one of most significant tourist destinations in the Czech Republic. Taking its importance into account the historical city centre of Kutná Hora became UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995. In spite of this international recognition, the town currently has to face the problem of the decreasing number of visitors as well as their short stay. The aim of my thesis is to describe the current commercial communication of the Kutná Hora city implemented mostly by local tourism agency and to analyze its future potential. Another objective is to suggest improvements of city marketing in order to increase the city's tourism profit in future. The thesis explains the principles of marketing strategies for tourist destinations demonstrated by the example of the city of Kutná Hora. The result is based on classified literature, my own research and data delivered by experts working in the tourism field. The author gives practical recommendations which could be a basis for the future destination management of Kutná Hora city.

The thesis presents marketing of Bruntal. The main goal is to analyze the marketing mix of Bruntal and the secondary goal is to compile a recommendation that would support development of the city. At the beginning of the thesis there will be explained conception of municipality marketing and basic context concerning this topic. Afterwards the analysis of the most important city marketing elements (product, material surroundings, promotion and people) will be introduced. There will be conducted survey research focused on revealing inhabitant's satisfaction with life in Bruntal. At the end of the thesis recommendations and suggestions how to improve usage of the marketing mix will be given.
