Key strategy of the project works with hidden potential of the former loess quarry and its terrain modification. Finding the closure between the winery and the landscape. To merge, to reach the symbiosis. They winemaking area is situated in the heart of the slope, to keep the wine in stable environment and creating the retaining wall at the same time. Concept is build on a traditional principles of agricultural yard and connection of partial functions through it.

Wine Farmstead is used to refer to large settlements outside the urban area of the municipality. Most were single economic unit, independent of the surroundings. The proposal builds on this tradition and also refers to the continuity of place and family winemaking tradition. Its main theme is the creation of two courtyards directly related to the building of the former brickyard. The first one is for family and its economic purposes, the other for visitors.

This bachelor thesis analyzes an area of brickfield in Jaroslavice. The new content of the area is a family vineyard. The original purpose is significant all around which strongly affects the new use of every part of the area. The object of the vineyard is designed in the connection of comunication from the village Jaroslavice. It divides the area into the north and south part which both have different purpose. The object with its shape reacts to the terrain it is dug into. Under one roof you can find two divergent services which with its principles reflect on the fasade and so make the character of the house.

The proposal maintains the current landscape of the place, which is shaped by two distinct structures - vineyards and slope excavation. Location winery produces imaginary boundary between the main phenomena. There are some conflicts with the slope excavation, which slowly builds on the vineyard rows. Grid vineyards further penetrates through the mass of the winery, which is copied into the overall design solution.

Its shape complements the landscape, leaving the vines to break through, create a place for relaxation and tasting their close contact. The underground part of the building is effectively used for wine making, tasting rooms on the first floor overlook the center of the action. Aside from the main building in a quieter part of the site are placed accommodation facilities for all visitors. The centrality of the working space and the availability of new vineyards makes workflow significantly easier. The new object so becomes part of the surrounding distinctive nature.
