Assessing the benefits of reconversion on the value of church building

The thesis focus on the reconversion church building in the selected location. At the beginning of the work described church buildings and their influence on the surrounding, the structure of the Roman Catholic Church and the development of church property during the history. This is complemented by theoretical terms and possible methods of valuing cultural monument. The practical part deals with the reconversion church building, specifically the Dominican monastery in Znojmo. Based on an analysis of Znojmo and monastery was suggesting possible use of the monastery. Of these, two variants were selected and were compared. Of these two options, one was chosen as the most suitable option for future use.

Václav Valeš: Restitution of Church Property in the Czech Republic After 1989 This work describes the sensitive theme of church property restitution in the Czech Republic after 1989. Two laws of restitution accepted from 1990 to 1991 (the law Nr. 298/1990 Coll. and the law Nr. 338/1991 Coll.) solved in particular the activities of Roman Catholic religious orders and congregations. The common law solving church restitutions generally was in 1992 and 2008 not accepted and this situation continues today. This situation restricts churches and religious societies in their work in many areas. A tiny proportion of their properthy were churches and religious societies returned by another way (executive way between 1996-1998, declaratory action).Besides the analysis of existing legislation this work also contains relating judicature of the Constitutional and Supreme Court of the Czech Republic. The matter of the restitution of the church property after 1989

The theme of the thesis: ,,The matter of the restitution of the church property after 1989", has been chosen due to the interesting public debate about this topic, which is very interesting, topical, sharp and clearly very controversial. The importance of the issue adds its development, while there are still continually opened new aspects and perspectives of this topic. The topic is significant by ambivalence of opinions, basically a certain helplessness and by the sharp clashes of the different opinions of the professional community. The cause is very simple. It is a problem with very complex historical and legal background. The diploma thesis attempts to uncover the background of the preparation of the restitution process and of the separation of the church and state after the 1989 including their historical background and important constitutional aspects. My goal was to describe a path which led to the enactment of the law about the property settlement with the churches and religious societies in 2012. The intention of this paper is not to cover all aspects of this topic, after all that is impossible in frame of one diploma thesis, but it should provide the reader a formally complex material which clarifies the causes and consequences of the enactment of the Act no. 428/2012 coll., about the...

The history of land adjustment in our country during the 20th century

This Bachelor thesis concerns the history of land adjustment in our country during the 20th century. The aim of this thesis was to describe the development of land adjustment and property rights to them since 1918 in the form of a literature esearch. The first, longer part of the thesis deals with land adjustment from the beginning of Czechoslovakia to the present, with view to the future. It describes land reforms and land registers and property rights registers. The second, shorter part of the thesis concerns church, church property and treatment with it during the historical periods and also church restitution in the nineties. It solve the question of the possession of church property and also how the church has got its property.

Bakalářská práce: Administrátoři in materialibus v českých diecézích Michal Olekšák Abstract Bachelor thesis "Administrators in materialibus in Czech dioceses" is dealing with the issues connected to the activity of administrators in materialibus - or in other words administrators of church property - in the dioceses of Czech church province. Due to the lack of information and non-existence of relevant literature, the purpose and meaning of the service of administrators in materialibus in the church is often misunderstood. In the theoretical part of the thesis, administrator in materialibus is defined and clearly specified, distinguished from other similar terms, primarily on the basis of the Code of Canon Law provisions regarding the administration of church property. It is followed by brief outline of duties and tasks resulting from the role of the administrator in materialibus, then by historical excursion into the development of church's relationship to property and its administration with the accent on the events in the last 65 years. Theoretical part of the thesis is concluded by the chapter dedicated to Saint Lawrence and Blessed Hroznata, who can be role models for the service of administrators today. The Issue of Extradition of Agricultural Property to Churches in the Usti Region

The theme of this work was chosen for topicality and public pressure on the issue described. Mandatory or authorized person did not have much time after the adoption of Act no. 428/2012 Coll. property settlement with churches and religious communities to prepare the application of this law in practice, during which there were ambiguities in the interpretation of legislation. Therefore, he was elected aim of this study is to identify the main issues that arose in the application of this law, and recommendations for their elimination or mitigation. Suitable proved the use of qualitative research methods: interviews with professionals and direct observation. The practical part describes the most common problems of the investigated areas that were identified by direct observation and interviews. Based on the findings were obliged person: the State Land Office recommended steps to improve the situation examined issues.
