This thesis aims for evaluating the information system in the company Natural Pack Group Ltd. and its possible changes in order to improve the current situation. In the first part, there is defined theoretical background closely related to the topic of work. The second part is focused on analysing the current state of the enterprise and its information system. On the basic of this analysis, there are proposed changes in the third part, which will be led to improvements of the information systems and business processes of the company.

Bachelor thesis is in its theoretical part focused on the history, description and different ways of accounting classification of ERP systems and what criteria is needed to take into consideration when choosing a fitting accounting system for a company. The practical section of the thesis is focused on the description of chosen company, on the comparison of economic systems and, in conclusion of the thesis, on the evaluation of the findings.

In this bachelor thesis author assesses information system of Stredoslovenská distribučná, a.s., energy distribution company, and designs potential changes. First part of the thesis is focused on theoretical knowledge of information systems, and it is further developed and used for assessment of the system itself. Theoretical part together with tailored analyses serves as a mean to design changes leading to improvement of specific processes and partial elements of the information system.
