Information System Assessment and Proposal for ICT Modification

This thesis aims for evaluating the information system in the company Natural Pack Group Ltd. and its possible changes in order to improve the current situation. In the first part, there is defined theoretical background closely related to the topic of work. The second part is focused on analysing the current state of the enterprise and its information system. On the basic of this analysis, there are proposed changes in the third part, which will be led to improvements of the information systems and business processes of the company.

This bachelor thesis focuses on the selection of ERP information system for the company Natural Pack Group s.r.o. The thesis contains analysis of the current status of the company and on the basis of this analysis are defined requirements for the selection of the information system. For the company is chosen such an information system that best meets the defined requirements. For this information system is then assembled design implementation.
The EU as a world power

This diploma thesis deals with the topic, whether European union is a world power or not at all. The aim of this diploma thesis was to find out if European union is a world power in hard power or soft power, alternatively what is stopping EU from becoming world power in those phenomenas. Futhermore thesis is working with the hypothesis, that EU is world power and in its foreign policy uses primarily soft power tools. Within qualitative research was used method of comparative analysis. EU was compared with United states, China and Russia. In the summary are results of observation from which emerged, that EU is world power mainly in soft power. Even through the fact, that according to realism as a theory of international relantions it possess all capabilities needed to be a world power in hard power. The main obstacle to become a world power in the field of hard power is mainly the lack of political will or decades long underfundation of member states armies.
Eisenhower Doctrine and the Middle East in years 1957 and 1958

With the Suez crises, according to American administration, was created a vacuum of power in the Middle East. This vacuum was in the eyes of the American government needed to be fill sooner, than Soviet Union and to isolate pro-soviet state, like Egypt and Syria. To this purpose, the Eisenhower doctrine was created, which should fought against international communism. Used method is the diplomatic history, bachelor's thesis provides outlook to shaping American foreign politics in 1957 and 1958 in the region of the Middle East and its application is comparing with the wording of the doctrine and also from the American view on decolonization. The author of the thesis, in conclusion, summarizes that doctrine was successful in intimidating Soviet union from larger engaging in region, but on the analysis of the use of the doctrine shows, that mostly the doctrine was used in the fight against Arab nationalism not against communism.
