Innovation Factors Influencing the Growth of Small and Medium-Sized Emterprises

Disertation work deals with innovative factors influencing the growth of small and medium enterprises. In this work are two main objectives related to the topic of work. The first one is definition of innovation activity on the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises in the South Moravian Region and the second one is analyzing the determinants of determining the internal environment of a company seeking to generate innovation podiku. Objectives and hypotheses were established on the basis of the literature search, with emphasis not only on business growth, but also on innovation. Primary research combines the use of qualitative and quantitative methods. The results obtained from statistical analyzes of primary research are presented in partial and general conclusion. This work consists methodological steps for small and medium-sized enterprises with an interest in growing their businesses. For a comprehensive view the work offers the disertatiton work the possibility of further expansion of research and outline the benefits of the individual spheres of professional life
Professional development of human resources in selected organisation

This diploma thesis focuses on the professional development of HR Officers in a selected organization. The main goal is to find out and describe the approach of HR Officers in the selected organization to their own professional development. The presented work is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part, areas and terms related to the researched issue are defined. The first chapter deals with the field of personnel studies. Specifically, it is dedicated to HR Officers, their roles, HR activities, competencies and opportunities for further professional education. The second chapter focuses on the area of employee education and development. It deals with corporate education, systematic education, methods of education and development, and motivation and barriers in the further education of adults. The practical part of the thesis is devoted to the description of the methodology of the research investigation. For the purposes of the diploma thesis, a qualitative method was chosen, and a case study was chosen as the research design. Specifics of lecturing work in the Customs administration of Czech Republic

The aim of this thesis is to identify and characterize the specifics of lecturing work with a focus on the Customs Administration of the Czech Republic. The structure of the thesis is divided into two main parts, namely the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part emphasizes the importance of further professional education. Attention is paid to the characteristics and description of general concepts of business education. The profession of the lecturer is characterized in the andragogic context with the definition of his/her basic competencies and activities in the individual phases of the educational event implementation. Lecturer's work in the Customs Administration of the Czech Republic is also characterized and its specifics are identified. In the practical part of the thesis, the case study is realized in the form of questionnaire. The aim of the case study is to analyse the effective use of the teaching methods, teaching aids and the feedback methods. The target group are lecturers of the Czech Customs Administration. An anonymous questionnaire was chosen as the key tool of the case study. The findings are presented in graphs and tables including accompanying comments. The conclusion summarizes the results of the investigation and a final evaluation.

Entrepreneurship education at secondary vocational schools

This diploma thesis is focused on an enterprise education. There are theoretical outcomes of the particular issue included in the first part of the thesis. This part deals with a basic terminology definition as well as with an explanation of the meaning of an enterprise education and subjects that deal with its development. The first part of the thesis also deals with current enterprise education projects that are being in progress not only in the Czech Republic but also all over the European Union and international organizations. The goal of the empirical part is to analyze a particular educational program and to evaluate up to which level an enterprise issue in general is included. Another aim is to get to know the students attitude towards the enterprise and to check their knowledge about the business skill. For this purpose a didactic test had been created according to an educational program. This test has proven that the business knowledge level is not satisfying. Therefore, the aim of this part is also to design a recommendation of possible modification to improve the educational process that would lead students to a bigger interest in the issue of business, to be more independent, active and creative.
70 years formation of the Czech accounting practice

This dissertation work is historically oriented. It deals with the bookkeeping and accounting practice for the period 1918 - 1988. This dissertation work is divided into six periods, namely the following: The First Republic 1918 - 1938, The Second Republic and the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia 1939 - 1945, The period after World War II 1946 - 1951, The Accounting records 1952 - 1965, The Dual circuit accounting 1966 - 1974, The Single circuit accounting 1975 - 1989. This dissertation work is mostly focus on double-entry accounting. It gives an overview of the development of accounting terminology, financial statements, accounting books, purposes and objectives of accounting and accounting practice. Part of this dissertation work deals with the business education, especially the economically-oriented secondary schools.
History of The Business Academy in České Budějovice in 1901{--}1948

The aim of the proposed thesis is to describe the history of The Business Academy in České Budějovice from its establishment in 1901 to 1948. The Czech history of the period between 1901 and 1948 as a factor influencing the school system at that time is also mentioned in the first chapter. However, the essential part of the proposed thesis is built up according to archival databases from the years 1901{--}1948. The second chapter is devoted to the development of business education in České Budějovice by 1918, the establishment of Czechoslovakia. The third chapter is focused on the development of secondary business school system in 1918{--}1948. In addition, a summary for each school year is given separately.
