Legal position of Liechtenstein in European Economic Area

The thesis defines legal status of Liechtenstein in the European Economic Area. It is divided into three consecutive chapters. The first chapter consists of two parts - general and economic characteristics of Liechtenstein. The general characteristic is based on the author's experience supported by scientific literature, while economic subchapter is based largely on statistical data. The second chapter focuses on the legal status of Liechtenstein and its position on international scene. The position is viewed from two perspectives, which affects it the most. First, from the perspective of participation in selected international organizations and second, the influence of close relationship with Switzerland. The last chapter analyses international litigation to which Liechtenstein is a party. The aim of this thesis is to define the legal relations of Liechtenstein, which forms its position, using the methods of analysis.
Switzerland and the process of European integration

This work deals with Switzerland and its relationship with European integration. The aim of the study is to determine why is profitable for Switzerland to be non-EU country and why its relations are based on Bilateral Agreements. The study analyzed the economic and political aspects that influence this specific Swiss position.
Rights related to the real estate property acquisitions in international comparison

Diploma thesis concerns about legal regulations of real estate by new civil codex with reflection to the previous and international legal regulation.The aim of the thesis is to assess the functionality of new civil code and its benefits in the real estate investment transactions in Czech Republic. This analysis is supported with overview of transfrontier real estate acquisitions made by foreign investors in Czech Republic and additionally also real estate investments of Czech investors abroad. This thesis therefore tries to provide answers to multiple questions ranging from analysis of new civil codex regulation, its impacts, risks and functionality then secondly its similarities in comparison to foreign law regulation (of Germany, Austria, Great Britain, Italy and France). From the perspective of transfrontier real estate acquisitions this thesis concerns about law acknowledgement for foreigner parties in real estate transactions in Czech Republic and counterbalance of the similar rights on the side of Czech residents in reciprocal acquisition process. The analysis is supported by the debate of accuracy of either liberal or protectionist attitude to foreign real estate investors' regulation with a reflection to current international political, sociological and economical course of events.

Considering that all negotiation to sign a bilateral agreement with the European Union finished this year, this thesis project propose an strategy that will permit the growth of the exportation of non-traditional agricultural products from Peru to the European market. The strategy to define this proposal will be based on the analysis of the characteristics of both markets, their level of development and their export volumes in the last ten years. In addition there will be an analysis on their financial and investment methods with the purpose of promote an increment on the Peruvian exports.
Australia and New Zealand: economic development and its impact on Asia-Pacific and European Union relations

The aim of this paper is to evaluate the economic development of Australia and New Zealand at the end of the 1980's and beginning of the 1990's and its impact on both countries' status in the Asia-Pacific region. This study consists of three chapters. The first chapter deals with the undergone microeconomic and macroeconomic reforms at the end of the 1980's and throughout the 1990's and discusses the economic situation before and after the changes. The second chapter analyses the history of and current relations between Australia, New Zealand and countries and regional groups in the Asia-Pacific region (China, Japan, South Korea, APEC, ASEAN and EAS). The chapter also pays close attention to areas that have the potential to strengthen relations and cooperation in the future. The third chapter analyses Australia's and New Zealand's relationship with the European Union and investigates possibilities of strengthening the European Union's position in the Asia-Pacific region via EU-Australia-New Zealand relations.
Position of Switzerland towards European Union

The purpose of my thesis is to analyze bilateral relations between Switzerland and European Union. Chapter One is introductory and defines aims of the thesis. Chapters Two,Three and Four describe development of bilateral relations since the World War II. Chapter Five focuses on the economic connections between Switzerland and European Union. My thesis also focuses on the most important Bilateral Agreements - starting with the Free Trade Agreement from 1972. Conclusions are drawn in Chapters Eight and Nine - evaluation of prospective scenarios.

In second chapter are listed and described individual bilateral agreements. In third part there are listed regional initiatives of the USA.
Švýcarsko a Evropská unie (přístup ekonomik k mezinárodním vztahům)

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na aktuální vývoj integračního procesu Švýcarska a Evropské unie. Zhodnocení vztahů vychází především z Bilaterálních dohod I a II. Zohledněny jsou základní pilíře švýcarské národní hrdosti (federalismus, přímá demokracie a neutralita). Zobrazeno je kromě vztahu s EU i členství Švýcarska v mezinárodních organizacích. Pozornost je věnována cestovnímu ruchu Švýcarska, který tvoří jeden z důležitých příjmů země. Součástí práce je také komparace s Rakouskem, a to z pohledu rozdílů v integrační strategii a její dopady na ekonomiku a dále z pohledu postavení cestovního ruchu v ekonomice.
