Poloch, Martin ; Musil, Vladislav (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
The goal of this diploma thesis is to design a shooting sport simulation device. Output of this project should be a market competitive product therefore the design should be focused on low price. Other important aspects are safety, reliability and mutlifunctionality of the whole system. Shooting simulation is based on special technology of sensing laser beams with LED developed in author´s bachelor thesis. The system is controlled by a group of microcontrollers. Their program running and communication is a key part of this thesis.

Results: The results show that the opinions of the biathlon coaches regarding the usefulness of athletic training in biathlon were positive. This has been clearly shown on the results of the standardized questionnaires where the most used method for speed training were short relays in the form of games and competitions (n=16). Regarding the strength development, the most used methods were: self-weight exercisers (n=16), standing vertical jumps over brackets (n=14), calfs exercise, walking lunges (n=14). Uphill running (n=16) and fartlek run (n=15) are also important for strength development. for the training of dexterity. Exercises such as; an obstacle...

Analysis of general and specific physical conditioning tests in youth Nordic skiers and biathletes
Korbelář, Tomáš ; Sucharda, Jan (advisor) ; Gnad, Tomáš (referee)
Title: Analysis of general and specific physical conditioning tests in youth Nordic skiers and biathletes. Goal: The goal of thesis is judge the validity of individual general and specific physical conditioning tests in 2012, 2013 and 2014 and compare this way the youth categories in Nordic skiing and biathlon. Methods: From the test results of general and specific physical conditioning tests and results of the czech cup youth ranking as an index fo achievement in Nordic skiing and biathlon we did a correlation analysis to figure out the extent of dependence. With the help of correlation analysis we came to the conclusion that the tests in biathlon show stronger correlation to achievement than tests in Nordic skiing. Nordic skiing, biathlon, czech cup ranking, youth - male, female, correlation, coefficient, test sets, achievement, prediction, train-ability Results: Keywords:
Influence of physical activity on postural balance of children
Bechyňák, Václav ; Čakrt, Ondřej (advisor) ; Bitnar, Petr (referee)
The aim of this study is to investigate influence of physical activity on postural balance of children (12 - 15 years old). Method is measurment of postural balance on stabilometric desc in differently challenging positions. Three groups are tested (biathletes, oarsmen and control group), each in count 15 - 20 probands. We expect, young biathletes will have better postural stability than oarsmen and control group thanks to specific training. Keywords Postural balance, static balance, biathlon, rowing, sport, children, laterality, bipedal stance, unipedal stance
Biathletes long term physical preparedness level in preparatory period
Veselý, Vojtěch ; Sucharda, Jan (advisor) ; Fiala, Miloš (referee)
Title: Biathletes long term physical preparedness level in preparatory period Objectives: To compare in selected control tests from prepartory period the best results of present biathlon junior representants and junior results of the best present biathlon sportsmen, who are nowadays in the world biathletes top, and to give long term development overview according to these tests. Methods: In this thesis, data collection method, data analysis method and comparison method was used. Data collection method was the first step where we summarized all available junior results from selected preparatory period tests. Furhter, the data analysis method was used to select the best achieved time for each junior competitor in selected tests and from all results. Comparison method was chosen for thesis conclusion where we compare and present all junior competitors best results in well-arranged tables and charts. Arithmetic mean was used as statistical method for work with results Results: On the grounds of performance level comparison shown in preparatory period control tests in 2001-2012 period, of present junior group and junior level performance of present top world biathlon sportsmen, we discovered that long term performance level of present juniors is worse than performance level of the then juniors....
Laser gun and target for shooting sport practise
Poloch, Martin ; Drexler, Petr (referee) ; Friedl, Martin (advisor)
This work deals with complete design of a system for simulating shooting sport. Key aspects of the design are similarity with shooting from classic mechanical weapons, multifunctionality of the system and costs. The core of the simulation is a laser transmitter in the weapon and a photosensitive receiver in the target. One of the key part of this thesis is choosing the most suitable photosensor. The final version of the system is controlled by a group of microcontrollers and provides several types of feedback. For example lighting the place that has been hit with LED, sound signals, displaying shooting results, or evaluating them with a computer.
Cost - benefit analysis of Biathlon World Championships 2013
Pavouková, Adéla ; Novotný, Jiří (advisor) ; Ševčík, Miroslav (referee)
This thesis covers the implementation of ex post cost-benefit analysis (CBA) applied to specific sport event in the Czech Republic, specifically Biathlon World Championships, which was held in Nové Město na Moravě in 2013. The results of determinative criterion indicators reliably exceeded the required values, investment project can be considered as economically feasible. Concurrently the event has generated positive cash flow therefore we can talk about the feasibility of the project. Overall, the project can be recommended for realization, because brings more benefits than costs to interested parties.
