Design of placing high voltage electrodes of the projection set of electron microscope on insulating rods
Pavlas, Ondřej ; Musil, Vladislav (referee) ; Hejátková, Edita (advisor)
In it´s first part, this presented master´s thesis focuses on the problematics of actions taking place in dielectric materials and phenomenons on the surface of real insulators placed in electric field. This research is followed by selection and rating of appropriate ceramic materials for the actual design of the metal – ceramic assembly. The greatest emphasis is given to design of the optimal configuration of the insulator and electrode, which is supported by simulations from the software that implements finite element method. Eventually, the high voltage tests of the assembly used for measuring leakage currents are performed.

Acccelerometer signal processing for vibration measurement

Blood pressure monitor
Kučera, Michal ; Musil, Vladislav (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and realization of a prototype of non-invasive blood pressure monitor based on the principle of Korotkoff sound detection. The design compares this method of measuring blood pressure with other methods. This design of an automated measuring system, which is controlled by a microprocessor, utilizes the scanning of Korotkoff sounds with an electret microphone placed in the cuff. The microphone signal is then amplified, filtered and adjusted for evaluation. The prototype uses processor-controlled inflation by the compressor and deflation of the cuff by a valve that is open without applied voltage.

Production testing equipment
Vokřál, Jiří ; Musil, Vladislav (referee) ; Hejátková, Edita (advisor)
The thesis introduces the design of a test device for preassembled mechatronic cylindrical locks. The device is designed to test the mechanical and electronic parts which ensure minimisation of loss caused by poor preassembling or defect due to electronic parts. Since the defect will only come to realisation upon the complete product testing, the time of complete dismounting, exchange and assembly of the mechatronic parts would be saved and also time required for the final test of the whole product on the device would be saved.

Irrigation automatic machine
Krištof, Martin ; Musil, Vladislav (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to design an irrigation automat. The bachelor's thesis describes a concept realized with the microcontroller TM4C1294. In the theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis, the fundamental terms are explained and irrigation automats are described. The practical part includes the design of hardware and software. The proposed solution allows irrigation using different methods and connect moisture soil sensor, air humidity and temperature sensor and water flow sensor.

Design of low-voltage operational amplifier
Plot, Vítězslav ; Musil, Vladislav (referee) ; Khateb, Fabian (advisor)
The work deals with design of low-voltage operational amplifier. First part presents theoretical knowledge of CMOS technology and MOSFET transistor. The next part describes low-voltage techniques used in low-voltage circuits. Transconductance operational amplifier based on bulk-driven technique is designed. This circuit is then enhanced into DDA, that demonstrates application as instrumentation amplifier.

Shooting sport simulation device
Poloch, Martin ; Musil, Vladislav (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
The goal of this diploma thesis is to design a shooting sport simulation device. Output of this project should be a market competitive product therefore the design should be focused on low price. Other important aspects are safety, reliability and mutlifunctionality of the whole system. Shooting simulation is based on special technology of sensing laser beams with LED developed in author´s bachelor thesis. The system is controlled by a group of microcontrollers. Their program running and communication is a key part of this thesis.

Backup AC Power Supply
Szabó, Andor ; Musil, Vladislav (referee) ; Prokop, Roman (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design a step-up DC/AC converter, an inverter from 12 V to 120 Vrms, with a sinus output signal. The converter should deliver a continuous performance of 300 W and a double peak power output of 600 W. The supposed usage of this inverter would be as a back-up power source for the circulatory pump of the central heating in the case of power outage. The inverter is consisting of a T-type power section.

The effects of ionizing radiation on semiconductor devices properties
Yermalayeva, Darya ; Šteffan, Pavel (referee) ; Musil, Vladislav (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the problematics of influence of ionizing radiation on semiconductor devices and their properties. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the different types of radiation that can occur in the areas of application of these components. In the second part, the degradation processes are explored, with emphasis on the influence caused by the radiation dose. Also, the displacement damage and SEE effects are described, but just slightly, because they are not part of this work. The third part describes the device design process and harmful effects, that have to be considered during the design phase. In the forth and the fifth parts of this work were done modeling of radiation effects (influence of dose rate, Single-Event Upset and Total Ionizing Dose) in PSpice program and was carried out the possibility of designing a simple dosimeter with silicon diode. In conclusion, the results of the thesis are summarized and evaluated.
