Software for Processing of Head Position Sensor Data
Slávik, Vladimír ; Sekora, Jiří (referee) ; Čížek, Martin (advisor)
The paper introduces briefly topics of retinal detachment, vitrectomy and applicable postoperative care. A system for increasing patient comfort is described, which continuously records and signalizes head tilt. The software part of aforementioned system is implemented, using C++ Builder programming environment and helper libraries supplied by system's hardware component vendors. This software application allows user to analyze recorded data and manage the system. Application's user interface and usage is described in detail, as well as implementation details concerning internal functions and organization.
Desing of measuring of electric machine rotor temperatue
Chalupa, Jan ; Krejčí, Petr (referee) ; Vlach, Radek (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on temperature measurement issues of rotating parts of electrical devices. Thesis includes proposition and implementation of hardware solution, which enables multi-channel temperature measurements using PT100 sensors. Measured temperature is transmitted into the user’s PC. Thesis also includes user software solution for Windows platforms. Hardware requirements are low. System is primarily determined for temperature test of electrical devices. It can be also used for long-term monitoring of devices in operating state. Transmitter was designed with following considerations. Minimal size, low consumption, mechanical and thermal endurance. These demands require comprehensive approach to the whole system solution.
Wireless Timer for Fire Sport Competitions
Holinka, Milan ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Bartoš, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis describes the design, development and realization of a wireless electronic timer for use in firesport. Specification of the final product is built with regard to versatility, ease of use and low acquisition costs. Commercial products have been compared as inspiration for this work. Requirements of the timer are based on the rules of firesport disciplines, where the timer can be used. It consists of a base station that can be accompanied for additional elements used to starting, splits capturing and stopping. An independent communication module has been created to ensure wireless connection. Libraries for comfort work with the module, support for USB bus and reliable protocol for wireless transmission have been implemented.
Digital audio wireless transmission
Juráň, Jeroným ; Hrabina, Jan (referee) ; Szabó, Zoltán (advisor)
This document describes the design of evaluation boards for wireless transmission of audio signal. The boards use WiSA compliant modules. It describes schematics of transmitter board, receiver board and boards of both AD and DA converter. Secondly the document describes the designed PCBs and demonstrates the results by photodocumentation. It also includes description of C library for using FLASH memory to store data and the C driver for FT800 chip and the typical application using this chip including touch
Design and implementation of wireless charging for embedded systems
Bednařík, Josef ; Bastl, Michal (referee) ; Krejsa, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and realization of wireless power charging circuit for embedded systems. The research section focuses on the various ways and technologies used in applications of wireless power transfer. The theoretical part also briefly characterizes resonant inductive coupling and critical parameters of the transfer. This is followed by realization of various variants of transfer coils and electromagnetic oscillators. Wireless power charging prototype system is created and used for testing purposes to find optimal configuration of resonator. The hardware unit presented in the final part of the thesis exploits microcontroller and implemented software is extended by foreign object detection algorithm along with method to monitor battery charging state.
Desing of measuring of electric machine rotor temperatue
Přikryl, Drahomír ; Sikora, Michal (referee) ; Vlach, Radek (advisor)
This thesis is concerned with temperature measuring on rotating parts of electrical machine, wireless transmision of acquired values and data processing. A new method of recording, transmision and data processing in real time has been developed.
Automatic monitoring of CO2 in the food industry
Mikuš, Martin ; Bastl, Michal (referee) ; Krejčí, Petr (advisor)
The purpose of bachelor thesis is the design and realization of a system for automatic monitoring of CO2, created during the fermentation process of sugars to alcohol, and of the temperature of the fermenting solution. The measured data will be wirelessly transmitted to a web application, which will save the measured data in to a table. Part of the thesis is a research of ways and methods of measuring CO2 concentration. The entire measuring device will be implemented on an ESP32 and powered by a battery.
Wireless Messaging System
Musil, Tomáš ; Dlouhý, Jiří (referee) ; Sekora, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of thesis is a design of wireless pager, that can be used for short text messages transmission from the sender to a particular recipient. The report is sent from a computer via serial port. The application is based on microcontrollers, which provide data protection, evaluation and display data on the display of the receiver. The wireless transmission is effected via the RF modules, that are powered from batteries.
Measurement of process variable – pressure
Kouba, Martin ; Hammer, Miloš (referee) ; Konečný, Antonín (advisor)
The measurement of the process quantity of pressure is an important element and condition of the functionality of many industrial applications, especially in the environment of commodity production, transport, pharmacy, food industry and many others. In practise, there are many pressure measurement methods that are applied in different environments and conditions. The choice of measuring equipment depends on many factors, such as the measurement range, environment, sensitivity, response speed, or environmental resistance. The correct procedure in their calibration and determination of measurement uncertainties increase the credibility of the measurement results. The means of data transfer in a modern concept make it possible to better secure and speed up the transfer of information in the measurement chain. All of the above-mentioned facts, in sequence and in relation to each other, fundamentally affect the resulting reliability and effectiveness of the measurement of the process quantity. The study of the measurement of the process quantity of pressure from a comprehensive point of view will allow us to analyse the individual elements of the measuring chain and their interconnection. The content of the thesis provides a basic orientation to the issue of pressure measurement and captures the main trends in individual areas.
