Title: Comparison of upper and lower quadrant stability using the Y-balance test in girls practicing sports aerobics Aim: The aim of this thesis is to identify the functional development of girls practicing sports aerobics at the elite level, to compare asymmetries and dynamic stability of the lower and upper quadrants using the Y-balance test across age groups. In addition to the main aim, the thesis monitored the prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders using a short anamnestic questionnaire and assessed the presence of hypermobility through the Beighton score. So, a secondary aim is to determine if and how these other aspects affect the dynamic stability of the girls. Method: A total of 44 girls aged between 8 and 25 years, covering all age categories of sports aerobics, participated in the study. The probands were selected from nine clubs in the Czech Republic and the research took place in the gyms of six of them. Measurements were taken during the competition season between February 2023 and October 2023. Data were collected by anamnestic questionnaire, Y-balance test and Beighton score. During this time period, the girls were measured a total of 3 times - at the beginning of the season, at the midpoint and towards the end. Data were entered into forms and then processed in Microsoft Excel...

Stará, Nicol ; Hájková, Jana (advisor) ; Jandová, Soňa (referee)
This thesis focuses on the foot arch condition in female sports and fitness aerobics competitors at different competition levels. Our aim is to analyze the condition of the longitudinal plantar arch based on plantographic measurements in a group of female athletes differing in performance and competition category. The work consists of two parts. The theoretical part deals with the description of sports and fitness aerobics by its definition and rules, then it describes the anatomy of the leg, the deformities of the plantar arch and last but not least the methods of plantogram evaluation. The practical part of the thesis deals with the analysis of the foot arch structure in selected female athletes at different performance levels. Specifically, in female athletes of the first performance class, where the number of probands measured totalled 44, and in female athletes of the second performance class, where 46 probands were measured. Subsequently, the total population (N=90) was compared to the general sporting population. The practical part of the study included additional questions for the athletes in the form of a questionnaire regarding the duration of participation in sports aerobics and fitness, performance class, frequency of training blocks, special exercises for the foot arch and the use of...

TITLE: The competitive performance analysis of Fitness Step Adults category in the finals of the World Championsips 2013 and 2019 AUTHOR: Tereza Kampová DEPARTMENT: Department of Physical Education SUPERVISOR: PaedDr. Jana Hájková ABSTRACT: The topic of this thesis is the analysis of competition sets in the Fitness Step Adults category in the 2013 and 2019 World Championships' finals. The main aim of this work is to analyze and compare the choreographies from these two years in terms of the development of difficulty, intensity and variability of the competition sets and to evaluate how the choreographies have changed after the rules had been altered. Individual choreographies from the year 2013 and 2019 are firstly evaluated in accordance with the rules and requirements of FISAF International and then compared with each other. Moreover, the comparison is subsequently supplemented by an interview with a coach and, at the same time, a participant in both World Championships in the role of a competitor. The conducted research revealed that the choreographies had changed its character since 2013. The choreographies of 2019 use different elements that help elevate the intensity of the set. Elements such as formation changes and exchanges between team members have reached a higher difficulty. In contrast with...
