The process s of adaptation of preschool children with ASD in kindergartens

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyse how children with autism spectrum disorder adapt in different situations, how they manage the adaptation process as such and at the same time to find possibilities that can help teachers and parents during further adaptation. In order to achieve the given goal, I have chosen two methods, which are the method of observation and an interview with parents/educators. The theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis is divided into 7 chapters in which I have presented the information I have obtained from books and online sources. The practical part describes the progress of both methods and also the answers to the chosen areas that were created to process the interviews. It then contains a conclusion and summary of the results. The results show that the most important thing for adaptation is the individual approach, patience, and most importantly communication between the parent and the teacher, because that makes it much easier to get closer to the child, understand him/her and then figure out what approach to choose in order to get the best result and progress for the child. At the same time, it is important not to put much pressure on the child during the adaptation process and to let the child get used to it and be happy, because if we put demands on the child from the beginning, it can be stressful for the child and then he or she.
Optimization of Recruitment Processes and Adapting Employees in the Selected Company

The thesis deals with the human resources in chosen hospital facility. The aim of the thesis is to give proposals to optimize recruitment process and the subsequent adaptation of new employees in the organization and to make them more efficient. The research will be carried out through a questionnaire survey with in-house staff and a structured interview with superiors and management. Based on the results found, changes will be proposed to improve the aforementioned business processes.

The aim of the thesis is to analyze the process of selection of employees and the process of their adaptation in selected company. The part of the analysis is to find out why employees are leaving the company. Next, I will look at the differences between the expectations that employees had before entering and the reality they encountered in the work. On the basis of the findings, I will propose possible changes to improve the process and reduce the fluctuation in the company.
Specifics of integration and education of foreigners studying at universities in the Czech Republic

The thesis deals with the specifics of integration and education of foreigners studying at universities in the Czech Republic. Nowadays, studying abroad is very affordable and therefore many students go to different countries and a significant percentage of them go to the Czech Republic. It is therefore essential that they feel comfortable here and that their studies have as few obstacles as possible. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to describe the access of foreigners to education in the Czech Republic, to find out how the adaptation process of foreigners to a new environment can be influenced, and to describe the integration and educational barriers of foreigners actively studying at universities in the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part of the thesis a description of the integration process, the legal framework for higher education in the Czech Republic, intercultural differences in education is realized. Adaptation in pre-primary education

My diploma thesis deals with the adaptation process of new-coming teachers who enter the pre-primary education system. The adaptation should prepare them especially for a teacher's position, acquaint them with the organisation culture and help them to integrate into the new social environment. The theoretical part is focused on personnel activities in the organisation, adaptation, mentoring, the adaptation process of a new teacher as well as on the adaptation plan. The thesis aims at examining the functionality of the adaptation plan used in a kindergarten in Prague and developing a proposal for adaptation plan changes based on the reflection of the needs during the adaptation of the teachers who started to work in the kindergarten. The research is based on a questionnaire survey and interviews with the teachers and mentors of the kindergarten in Prague. Seniors adaptation after entering the Department of Social Services

The bachelor thesis deals with the adaptation of seniors in a nursing home. It surveys how the seniors experience their arrival at the nursing home and what problems they face during it. Firstly, it describes the old age and the changes accompanying this period. It introduces social services available for the seniors. The most important point of the thesis is the adaptation to the old age and the process of a senior´s adaptation in the nursing home. It also deals with an issue of loneliness and the seniors´ interest in single rooms. The bachelor thesis contains a qualitative research in its practical part. It is a processing of half- structured interviews with 7 clients of the nursing home. These interviews offer a view of the clients´ first day in the nursing home and the beginnings of their adaptation. The evaluation of the adaptation and factors enabling or disabling this process is in the discussion and conclusion of the thesis.
Factors influencing nurse's adaptation and fluctuation

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to map the factors that affect the adaptation and fluctuation of nurses in health care. The nurses were selected from different medical facilities, with different lengths of work in healthcare. To meet the objectives - to identify the factors that affect the adaptation and fluctuation of nurses, three research questions have been identified: "What factors do affect the nurses' fluctuation?"; "What factors do influence nurses' adaptation?" And "How does the adaptation process work in health care facilities?" The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on defining the concepts of adaptation and the adaptation process. We deal with the diversity of internal and externalfactors of the employee and the preconditions for managing the adaptation process. The second part of the theoretical part is devoted to fluctuation. For many medical facilities with a shortage of nurses, their departure is a complication in providing patient care. The empirical part of the thesis is processed using a qualitative research survey technique of semi-structured interview. The research group consists of 10 nurses from various organizations or hospital departments. The results have shown that many nurses have the same or very similar factors influencing their adjustment and fluctuation. Adaptation to the team and management by the management department is the most involved in the adaptation process. The active approach of all involved is important for the successful course of the adaptation process. Thanks to it, it is possible to get acquainted with the environment and it gives confidence to the new employee. The nurses agree that they need time to adapt and appreciate management support from, for example, the nurse's mentor. Factors for leaving the job included, for example, bad experience with team, organizational changes, bossing or mobbing, as well as insufficient financial evaluation. The output of the thesis will be an article in a professional periodical for nurses. The contribution of the thesis is to reveal the reasons that will or will not support the adaptation process and fluctuation.
Adaptation process in Intensive Care Units from the point of view of general nurses

The aim of this diploma thesis is to introduce the intensive care unit, the adaptation process and the analysis of the adaptation process in intensive care units. The theoretical part of the thesis describes intensive care in general, including the history, employee structures, division of the providing care, the national register of intensive care, the education of nurses, or the equipment of such a workplace. Furthermore, the adaptation process is described, which is the main topic of this work. It is described along with its types, phases, course in health care and methodological instructions. Coaching, mentoring, communication and, motivation, which are also an important part of the adaptation process, are introduced as well. The research part is realized in the form of semi-structured interviews with respondents working in intensive care as trainers who are involved in the training of new employees in the adaptation process and with employees who have completed the training. Based on the data obtained from the informants involved in the research survey, the categorization of the data was done, in which the results are described in detail. The thesis presents the views of nurses on the adaptation process taking place in their workplace. It also points out the deficiencies and areas that need to be given increased attention in the adaptation process. These are the areas of communication and continuous evaluation of the adaptation process, documentation and teaching materials, the area of the necessary time and space for training, motivation in the adaptation process and also the area of the team's influence on the new employee, and so, on the whole adaptation process.
