Soft robot mechanical design
Gamba, Jaromír ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Věchet, Stanislav (advisor)
This thesis deals with construction of soft bodied robot which is able to change its volume and to float in water. The aim of this work is to design a mechanical construction providing modification of its volume.
Central control system of the smart house
Novotný, Jan ; Macháň, Ladislav (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
The work deals with building controlling system. It can be divided into three parts. First part describe general theory of smart houses. Second part analysing the task. Last part is realization about.
Bridge type of track shifter
Holomek, David ; Franek, Lešek (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis contains a description of a bridge type track shifter model, with the introduction including an analysis of the whole work. The first task describes the look and layout of individual parts of the track shifter model. There is also a description of the AS-Interface database, as well as a section with representations of the sensors and actuators of the track shifter. The fifth part describes the PLC software configuration, and is followed by a section dealing with the errors found in the AS- Interface database. After a description of the track shifter’s control program, the seventh section underlines the visualization aspect of the track shifter model. The final section includes samples of laboratory tasks.

Re-design of steering servo-actuators for Car4 experimental robot
Vespalec, Tomáš ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Vejlupek, Josef (advisor)
This thesis deals with the development and design of the wheels mechanism in an experimental vehicle Car4. During this work, we introduce the vehicle axle load calculation, with components and systems, allowing linear and rotational motion, and different design proposals for the application of these systems in the vehicle. The result of this work will be a new mechanism for the wheels of the experimental vehicle Car4.
Design and implementation of modules for teaching and developing applications with microcontroller Atmel AVR
LANGMAJER, Miroslav
This thesis is based on the design and production of teaching kits with expansion modules which are based on the Atmel AVR microcontroller. Kit consists of a plate containing processes and basic power modules directly on the board and expansion modules "SIMAČ". "SIMAČ" modules are virtual elements that simulate the real elements and they are commonly used in industrial automation. Because of their cost they are integrated in extension kit as programmable modules. It also contains basic theoretical information about working with ATMEL AVR microcontrollers. Expansion modules with module development board and disc which will be loaded all the schemes, programs and technical documentation for individual districts will be attached to the thesis.
Actuators for Flow Control Based on Plasma Principle
Procházka, Pavel P. ; Uruba, Václav ; Šonský, Jiří
One can distinguish between two types of flow control, passive and active. Active flow control has a few advantages. The biggest advantage is a possibility to influence the flow only if there is a need. By contrast, the passive control acts all the time and for all regimes and this is not good in terms of fuel consumption, for example. Active flow control provides the necessary momentum to the shear layer from an external source, as opposed to passive control which uses the momentum of free stream of fluid.
Aktuátor založený na principu termoelasticity pro vytváření extrémních sil
Doležel, Ivo ; Donátová, M. ; Karban, P. ; Ulrych, B.
Actuators working on the principle of thermoelasticity represent promising devices for fixing tasks in the industrial environment. The paper deals with the computer simulation of their operations both in the dynamic regimes. The task represents a multiply coupled problem characterized by interaction of electromagnetic field, temperature field and a field of thermoelastic displacements. The corresponding mathematical model is solved in hard-coupled formulation. The methodology is illustrated on a typical example.
