This bachelor thesis concerns mobile application development for Windows Phone 7 platform focused on lifestyle changes and dealing with problems concerning weight, physical condition and appearance. The application uses built-in modules of modern mobile phones like GPS navigation, high resolution camera and Internet connection. The application development description starts from general introduction of the issue, through description of main features of the platform Windows Phone 7, concrete architecture of the application and solution of implementation problems, to description of methods and tools used for the design and planning, library and third-party framework description.

The thesis is based on the analysis of equipment and monitoring of comparable centres in some towns in the Czech Republic. It presents own suggestions of improvement to the recondition centres services in Brno and the whole networks of recondition centres in the form of franchising.

The object of bachelor´s thesis is based on the analysis to create a custom design recommendations leading to a healthy lifestyle of university students. This research was used a questionnaire that compares the lifestyle of students of field of study Management of Physical Culture with other undergraduate students from the Faculty of Business and management. Students answered questions about their behavior to their own health.

This bachelor thesis focuses on identifying the significant factors of fitness services influencing the customer's decision making in the subsequent selection of a fitness centre. The significant factors are availability of machines, staff, cleanliness of the gym and toilet facilities, group classes and other services related to and relaxation area. The work is created for two fitness centres. Three clusters are created for the two gyms using cluster analysis. These clusters are then described in terms of demographic structure and respondent satisfaction. Further, a preference analysis is also conducted which is also helpful to make recommendations for individual fitness centers. The finding is that fitness centers are plagued by similar problems.

The Bachelor thesis "Awareness of healthy lifestyle balance for secondary school pupils" focuses on healthy lifestyle and its important components, containing a theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, the concept of a healthy lifestyle is defined and the essential aspects important to maintaining a healthy lifestyle are clarified. The practical part includes a questionnaire investigation which was carried out at the SSC to establish pupils' awareness and adherence to healthy lifestyles. A recommendation for teaching experience is given at the end of the work.
Healthy lifestyle parameters assessment in patients with type 2 diabetes mallitus and fatty liver

This bachelor thesis assessed several parameters of healthy lifestyle and potential liver steatosis presence in patients with diabetes mellitus type 2. In the first part there are descriptions of liver, pancreas, diabetes mellitus type 2, metabolic syndrome, and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Further there is a characterisation of Mediterranean diet with its main features and health effects. Practical part is dealing with a questionnaire survey in patients with diabetes mellitus type 2 referred to abdominal ultrasound examination. There were 19 questions focused on healthy lifestyle (consummation of vegetables, fruits, fish, use of olive oil, drinking tea or coffee, eating of sweets, and drinking of alcohol) and questions assessing knowledge of the Mediterranean diet, physical activity, duration of diabetes, family history of diseases of affluence and hepatoprotective medication use. Age, gender and basic anthropometric data and result of sonographic examination for presence of liver steatosis were recorded. A total of 92 patients (71 men / 21 women) average age 65 years. Liver steatosis was diagnosed in 88% of patients. Knowledge of the Mediterranean diet was low (20% of respondents). Abstinence among young adults

Based on current research and yearly reports of consumption of addictive substances where the Czech Republic repeatedly ends up at the top of the rankings while also having fewer people who abstain from addictive substances in comparison to European standards, we've decided to understand more about the experience of people who abstain. So far the research wasn't too focused on the people who abstain from addictive substances therefore the aim of this work is to get a holistic perspective of their lives. A group of young adults who have been abstaining from addictive substances for some time and therefore can reflect on their experiences have been selected as participants in the study. Fifteen different experiences with abstinence have been collected through semi-structured interviews. The first phase of data analysis (Analysis I) reviews and compares the responses, and in the second phase (Analysis II) we've worked with the central category that is common among the interviews. Psychological resilience has been established as a strong common basis among all respondents which represents a supportive factor against conformity to a society that has different patterns of consumption of addictive substances than respondents.
