Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá hodnocením faktorů zdravého životního stylu a případným výskytem steatózy jater na skupině pacientů s diabetem mellitem 2. typu. V úvodu jsou popsána játra a pankreas, diabetes mellitus 2. typu, metabolický syndrom a nealkoholové tukové postižení jater (NAFLD). Dále je charakterizována středomořská strava, hlavní její znaky a účinky na zdraví. Praktická část se věnuje dotazníkovému šetření u pacientů s diabetem mellitem 2. typu odeslaných k sonografickému vyšetření břicha. Dotazník obsahoval 19 uzavřených otázek zaměřených na zdravý životní styl (konzumaci zeleniny, ovoce, ryb, užívání olivového oleje v kuchyni, pití čaje a kávy, konzumaci sladkostí a pití alkoholu) a hodnotících povědomí o středomořské stravě, pohybovou aktivitu, dobu trvání diabetu, výskyt civilizačních onemocnění v rodině a případné užívání tzv. hepatoprotektiv. U respondentů byly získány základní údaje (věk a pohlaví), antropometrické údaje (výška, tělesná hmotnost, body mass index a obvod pasu) a lékařem bylo provedeno sonografické vyšetření břicha ke zhodnocení přítomnosti jaterní steatózy. Dotazník vyplnilo celkem 92 pacientů (71 mužů / 21 žen) průměrného věku 65 let. Steatóza byla diagnostikována u 88 % pacientů. Povědomí o středomořské stravě bylo nízké (20 % respondentů). Dodržování... This bachelor thesis assessed several parameters of healthy lifestyle and potential liver steatosis presence in patients with diabetes mellitus type 2. In the first part there are descriptions of liver, pancreas, diabetes mellitus type 2, metabolic syndrome, and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Further there is a characterisation of Mediterranean diet with its main features and health effects. Practical part is dealing with a questionnaire survey in patients with diabetes mellitus type 2 referred to abdominal ultrasound examination. There were 19 questions focused on healthy lifestyle (consummation of vegetables, fruits, fish, use of olive oil, drinking tea or coffee, eating of sweets, and drinking of alcohol) and questions assessing knowledge of the Mediterranean diet, physical activity, duration of diabetes, family history of diseases of affluence and hepatoprotective medication use. Age, gender and basic anthropometric data and result of sonographic examination for presence of liver steatosis were recorded. A total of 92 patients (71 men / 21 women) average age 65 years.
