Let's discover the past of progress with a virtual assistant
Hanzalová, Linda ; Havlůjová, Hana (advisor) ; Hnilica, Jiří (referee)
In my diploma thesis, I am looking for a way to awaken, maintain and deepen people's relationship with technical monuments in the cultural landscape, thereby increasing their chance of preserving them for future generations as evidence of the history of human ingenuity. I deal with the possibilities of connecting interpretation and education, or guides and teachers, at technical monuments with help of a virtual environment which is close to today's young generation. The goal of my work is to create such an interactive educational program/game focusing on technical monuments which will make the participants, through an application on a mobile phone or tablet, physically visit a technical monument, get to know it in its authentic environment and thus create a personal relationship with it. At the same time, in the role of the creator of this type of educational program, I also examine the environment, the conditions for the implementation of the plan, as well as the possibility of sharing game experiences, partial and overall results, including their own research, with other users. I am looking for a way to make heritage education "alive", developing and sustainable. KEYWORDS Technical monuments, play, interpretation, education, crafts, technologies, virtual environment, experience.
Design of Cable Car Cabin
Linhartová, Simona ; Blaha, Tomáš (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the design of a cableway cabin intended for a mountain environment. The aim of the thesis was to create a cabin that not only meets the technical and ergonomic requirements, but also provides passengers with comfort and experience during the journey. The contribution of the design is an attractive design that harmoniously connects the body of the cabin with the suspension system. Ergonomic access inside the spacious interior allows easy storage of transported equipment, which enhances passenger comfort. The design also focused on incorporating innovative features that enhance the experience of the cable car ride. These features include a roof balcony, a partially transparent floor and a cab rotation function. This has resulted in an innovative and competitive cable car design that can be used in any mountain area and provide passengers with a high level of comfort and experience.

The Fantastic Moment. On the Verge of the Real.
Dašková, Michaela ; Smetana, Matěj (referee) ; Klímová, Barbora (advisor)
In my diploma I continue in the topic which I solved in my theoretical part of diploma. I study that "Fantastical moment" in practise. I am interested in its uprise or creation, in its character in memories of other people and in its evoking. The book is documentation of my collecting work and also of my secret interventions in personal places of my kith and kin which are hardly accesible by spectator. The book (or issue) is set in 4 pieces. In ideal case I would like to edit it in about 100 pieces and distribute it in galerie´s shops. In this way it would be possible to lent it in some chosen places in Brno.
Use of experience in the prevention of risky behavior
Palyov, Pavel ; Hanková, Zdeňka (advisor) ; Richterová, Magdalena (referee)
The topic of this thesis is the use of experience in risky behaviour. The work is divided into four chapters. The first three chapters are theoretical. In the first chapter, we deal with preventive risk behaviour and related legislation, the role of prevention methodology and other workers, the status of the school prevention program together with the use of classroom hours; followed by teaching a separate subject of health education. The second chapter describes individual types of risky behaviour (regarding occurrence among pupils in elementary schools), their specific signs and manifestations. The last theoretical chapter deals with experiential pedagogy, its starting points, basic principles, and methods. We also present selected experiential programs that are used specifically for risky behaviour in selected educational facilities. The goal of the work is to find out what the experience of prevention methodology is with the use of experiential pedagogy methods in the prevention of risky behaviour. We pursue this goal in the practical part of the thesis. We analyse the results of a questionnaire survey that took place among the prevention methodology of selected Prague schools. Here we focus primarily on the use of experiential pedagogy methods that are taught in elementary schools. Next, we...
Experience in The Artwork and in The Gallery Space
Havránková, Simona ; Pfeiffer, Jan (advisor) ; Francová, Sylva (referee)
The theoretical part of the thesis is comprised of three interrelated areas: the exhibition as a medium, space, and curation. The chosen areas each include a presentation of the development of space. The thesis explores elements that transform the audience's overall experience of visiting an exhibition and the audience's impression of the displayed piece. The chapter which follows the facilitator's role in the exhibit determines the most common causes of the public's dismissive stance towards art. The third chapter is focused on curation and introduces the curator's role. The practical part of the thesis proposes solutions for a three-dimensional installation and offers means of linking artworks to their surroundings. In relation to the subject of the public's detachment from art, the thesis explores art from the viewpoint of the audience and the audience's experience. The thesis aims at designing an arrangement that aids in bettering the relationship between the public, the gallery, and art, through the use of gallery education. The practical part involves the author's project - a curatorial conception for which thematic series are provided in the didactic part. The basis of the work is finding relationships between different areas of art and viewing exhibitions from an educational perspective....

Patera, Jiří ; Bačáková, Radka (advisor) ; Brtník, Tomáš (referee)
10 Abstract Title: Risks, experience and benefits of ski mountaineering Objectives: The aim of the study was to investigate feelings, risks and benefits during ski mountaineeering. Methods: In this study, we used a survey which is one of the questionnaire techniques. It is a quantitative research. Graphical representation was used to process the results. 337 respondents aged 18-72 years took part in this study. Results: We learned in the survey that for most ski mountaineers the greatest experience they get out of a hike is nature. Furthermore, most ski mountaineers don't know what green exercise means, 61% of ski mountaineers claim that the biggest subjective risk is not knowing the terrain, and the biggest objective risk are avalanches (66%). Almost all respondents agreed that the biggest benefit they perceived to be the improvement of their mood due to endorphin release. Conclusion: Thanks to the conducted survey, we have found out which benefits and risks skialpinists perceive as the most significant. According to our findings, the release of endorphins and the associated improvement in mood are among the greatest physiological benefits. Avalanche risks were identified by the respondents as the most feared objective risks, while lack of terrein knowledge was the most commonly selected subjective risk by...
