Electromagnetic recoil system for simulated weapons
Vladík, Jakub ; Jirgl, Miroslav (referee) ; Baštán, Ondřej (advisor)
Main goal of this work is to analyze the feasibility of an electromagnetic recoil simulator on weapon replicas. The thesis explains the basic function of self-loading firearms based on the HK 416 weapon and then the concept of recoil and its meaning. Lists today's recoil compensation options. It then defines possible electromagnetic solutions as a replacement for the existing pneumatic recoil system. Some posibble solutions mentions DC motor, solenoid, linear motor and railgun as possible. The thesis lists DC motor, solenoid, linear motor and railgun as possible solutions. The best solution is a tubular linear motor combined with a power supply containing Li-pol batteries.

Some people said the weapon had a magic power, according to others it wasn't difficult to recognize their owner. A long time ago the typical weapon was a sword which the kings and knights used to show their power. The sword as the most important weapon of medieval fighter, was very efficient and it was used for fighting at close range. The sword wasn't only the symbol of war but also the sign of prior role in society. But we can't only see the sword as a weapon. Methods: Literature search, which deals with the issue of shooting. For the elaboration of this work, the search for study sources was used, followed by their analysis and subsequent search of these obtained study sources. Results: The result of this work is a comprehensive understanding of shooting from real and laser weapons in terms of biomechanics and human physiology and its impact on shooting performance. When comparing real and laser shooting, no significant penetration into the issue was found due to the insufficient number of sources and information about laser shooting. For this reason, a greater representation of the laser weapon cannot be justified in this work at the expense of the real weapon in the Army of the Czech Republic system, even though the use of laser weapons in training is a cheaper financial issue in the long run. Key words: Army,...
