The bachelor thesis is focused on the topic of alternative education. It deals with the adaptation of Waldorf primary school graduates in their transition to tradi-tional secondary schools. The thesis describes the origin, development and classifi-cation of alternative schools. It presents their principal characteristic features, specifics in the approach to students in the classes and differences from traditional school education. In the main part, the thesis focuses on describing phenomenons appearing in students' transition from primary to secondary schools and possible problems in their adaptation to the traditional type of teaching.
Inclusive Education at Alternative Primary Schools of Montessori and Waldorf Type

This diploma thesis focuses on inclusive education at alternative elementary schools such as Montessori and Waldorf. Alternative education is experiencing great boom and the number of schools and pupils educated in non-traditional ways has risen. In 2016 has been also newly institutionalized policy about inclusive education that has the aim to include children with special educational needs into standard educational process. Aim of this thesis is to find out whether Montessori and Waldorf are more suitable for these children. This thesis also identifies relationships between alternative elementary schools and the public sector, or more precisely how are these relationships perceived by education policy makers. Lastly, this paper describes and explains relationships between parties playing important part in inclusive education and elementary schools. Methodology used in this thesis is qualitative research and research design is represented by single-case study. Used data are collected from three half- structured interviews with elementary school principals. Secondary data were obtained through various documents, cases and reports. analyzed using technique called thematic coding. This bachelor thesis presents the theme of geography teaching in alternative schools. The first part of the thesis contains theoretical bases, methodology, introduces with the aim of the thesis and presents specific schools, which were chosen. There are Montessori schools, Waldorfs schools and Step by Step schools. In the practical part, there is described qualitative research activities, that was carried out in schools like a method of participating observation on geography lessons, a method of semi-structured interviews with geography teachers and a method of focus groups of students. English language teaching in Waldorf schools

This diploma thesis deals with the methodology of ELT in Waldorf lower secondary schools. The theoretical part focuses on the historical background and the philosophical premises of Waldorf pedagogy, as well as a general outline of this alternative educational approach. The subsequent chapters are dedicated to the anthroposophical concept of language and the Waldorf methodology of teaching both native and foreign languages. The goal of the practical part is to examine the distinctive features of ELT in this type of schools. The research study is based on the evaluation of the data obtained with the qualitative methods of lesson observation, namely in the 6th and the 8th forms, and interviews with the teachers. The thesis contains a survey of the Waldorf pupils' attitude towards English and the sources of their learning motivation.
The Comparison of Selected Alternative Schools' Pedagogical Systems with the Don Bosco Preventive System

The Paper discusses the education and upbringing as a system, and is especially aimed at the Preventive system of Saint John Bosco. The Bosco{\crq}s system is then compared to the selected alternative schools{\crq} pedagogical systems, which take humanism as the core of approach to the child{\crq}s soul. The aim of this baccalaureate paper is to compare the selected issues, which the author sees as being important. It is the specification of target group, to which the pedagogical system is aimed at, the upbringing and educational methods, the monitored educational objectives and the educational environment. Also, there is the monitoring of the relationship between the system and the Christianity.

The subject of theses for the bachelor degree is the alternative pre- schooling of the waldorf type. The theoretical part is devoted to the description of this type of school from the point of view of the daily schedule. The second part of the thesis is analysis of the questionnaire which was offered to the parents of the children. The parents were asked to give reasons for choosing this type of schooling and to express their assessment of a particular school.
