Model simulation using SIMIT
Váňa, Dominik ; Pásek, Jan (referee) ; Arm, Jakub (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is focused on simulating a technological proces. The teorethical part of the text deals with the simulation tools available on the market. Special attention is paid to SIMIT tool, which is a complex solution for simulating processes. The thesis describes the basic control and the procedure of creation in this tool. The theoretical analysis presents the possibilities of its extension with additional libraries. It contains a brief description about these libraries, which provide much more simulation options. SIMIT is a virtual commissioning tool, a process design approach that is used to simulate a virtual factory model, test it, and debug it before it is deployed. This is a cost-effective and timesaving approach. In the practical part of the thesis two simulators were created with the SIMT tool, each of which simulates an excercise from the subject „Programmable logigs controllers“ (BPGA). The thesis presents model schemes of simulated processes that replace the real physical model. The results of the work are the created simulators, descriptions of their operation and valuation of their features and the properties of the SIMT program itself.

I made SCADA aplication for users too. This model will be used in lessons and students will program PLC for controlling. In master’s thesis I explain, how to work in simulation environment Tecnomatix Process Simulate too.
Design of digital twinn of CNC machine tool
Staněk, Václav ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Holub, Michal (advisor)
The Master’s thesis deals with design of digital twins of machine tools and application of designed procedure on a case study – digital twin of the machine tool MCV 754 Quick. In the first part are described current roles of digital twins in the field of machine tools and also hardware and software options for creating them. Software and hardware tools by Siemens (Mechatronics Concept Designer and SIMIT) are used for the case study. The complex procedure of creating the digital twin is designed in the second part, starting with preparation of a model, ending with the virtual commissioning of the machine tool MCV 754 Quick. The procedure is described in detail, including preparation of 3D model of the machine tool, assignment of physical properties and joints, preparation of PLC, connection all the elements of the whole system: Sinumerik – SIMIT – Mechatronics Concept Designer and controlling the twin via CNC automation system. Output of the thesis is the virtually commissioned machine tool, capable of being controlled by Sinumerik 840D sl. This is the first step in development of the full-fledged digital twin of machine tool, which can be used for testing the functionality and capability of this new technology in industry.
Virtual commissioning of the robotic completion of the shaft
Krůpa, Jiří ; Szabari, Mikuláš (referee) ; Bražina, Jakub (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design and virtual commissioning of a robotic workplace for the assembly of an electric motor shaft. The theoretical part of the thesis summarizes the knowledge about virtual commissioning and briefly introduces the simulation program Process Simulate from the Tecnomatix software family. The practical part describes the design of a new robotic workplace for pre-assembly of rotors, which is to replace the three workplaces of manual assembly. The design was made on the basis of an analysis of the current state of the manual assembly process and using multicriteria analysis. The next section describes the process of creating a simulation model in the Process Simulate program and creating a PLC control program for a robotic cell in the TIA Portal program. The work also contains a proposal for the visualization of the HMI control panel using the HMI Template Suite. At the end of the work is a description of the virtual commissioning itself.
Digital commissioning of a robotic production system for laser cutting
Žaludek, Jan ; Kočiš, Petr (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with digital commissioning of a robotic production system for laser cutting. First part of this thesis sums up teoretical knowledge of virtual commissioning, fundamentals of laser and laser cutting and system analysis of such a workplace. In practical part of this thesis, the workplace was designed including the workpiece clamping. The design and the digital commissioning itself was mediated by the software RobotStudio. In the programming language RAPID a control program was made and tuned. The workoplace was then virtually commissioned. For easier handling a user interface on FlexPendant was made.
Design of an Experimental Robotic Cell for Manupulation Operations
Bednář, Martin ; Kubela, Tomáš (referee) ; Pochylý, Aleš (advisor)
Final thesis is focused on design of experimental workplace with industrial robots for manipulation operations, that will be used for educational and demonstrational purposes. Integration of sub-systems and workplace layout are worked out in this thesis. Key factor is so called virtual commissioning. Unique solution, which is contained within final thesis, combines several software tools for the design of robotic workplace. Static 3D model created in Autodesk Inventor Professional is imported into Tecnomatix Process Simulate, where dynamic 3D model is made – simulation model respectively. The control element is softPLC by Beckhoff company created in TwinCAT software. The connection of simulation model and control element is realized using standardized communication protocol OPC UA. This combination proved to be a cheap tool for virtual commissioning in practice, because only one personal computer is needed for the job.
Virtual commissioning of the one purpose measuring machine
Mour, Jiří ; Bražina, Jakub (referee) ; Štěpánek, Vojtěch (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the virtual commissioning of a single-purpose measuring station for measuring square-shaped plate components by a comparative method of measurement. The theoretical part deals with current methods of automatic measurement in industry and an overview of sensors for measuring length dimensions. The practical part describes the modification of the 3D model of the measuring station in the software NX Mechatronics Concept Designer and the structure of the PLC program in the software TIA Portal, including the mathematical procedure for processing measured data from the sensors. The visualization of the HMI control panel with screens for various modes of the measuring station was also processed.

Design and implementation of Industry 4.0 testbed functional modules
Podrabský, Tomáš ; Pásek, Jan (referee) ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (advisor)
In this work I deal with the project of an automated robotic bartender, whose task is to show model concepts such as virtual commissioning, digital factory or industry 4.0. The work resolves two parts (cells) for the overall construction. Individual cells are solved from the design and realization of the construction through the virtual verification of operation to the design and realization of the control itself for the given cells. The construction solution was created in SolidEdge ST10. Virtual verification will be solved in the Tecnomatix Process Simulate program and the implementation of PLC and HMI control by Siemens is programmed in the TIA Portal. Wiring diagrams were drawn in the student version of the EPLAN design environment. Other colleagues work on other parts of the barman project.
