Koprivnice 3.0 - Housing A++
Lapešová, Tereza ; Moler, Vít (referee) ; Nový, Vítězslav (advisor)
The diploma thesis focuses on the design of a new district in the town of Kopřivnice. The plot is owned by the municipality. The proposal includes a multifunctional building and three residential buildings. The construction is financed through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) between the municipality and a private investor. The thesis primarily concentrates on the residential properties with significant attention given to public spaces. The entire area of Kopřivnice is intersected by the Kopřivnička River surrounded by greenery, to which the proposed area responds. The houses are designed with a focus on maximum variability and straightforward construction.
Fragile Future
Jedličková, Eliška ; Sobotka, Jiří (referee) ; Gabriel, Michal (advisor)
Fragility, variability, immateriality... In my final master's thesis, I focused on the theme of fragility and shadow in visual art. I directed my initial idea towards the motif of fragility and transience. It's a topic that has interested me for quite some time. Where are the boundaries of fragility? How can the perception of this concept differ for each of us? Fragility can be understood as a certain material property, but also as an internal matter. In connection with this theme, I decided to work with shadow, which, for me, is in many ways fragile, elusive, variable, and has no material essence, real nature, or form. I thus chose to work with aesthetic and spiritual phenomena.
Undesirable variability suppression in fMRI data during psychophysiological interactions analysis
Kojan, Martin ; Mareček, Radek (referee) ; Lamoš, Martin (advisor)
The objective of the thesis is to get familiar with the method of psychophysiological interactions and its common inplementation. It is explaining the usual methods of removing disruptive signals from the data processed in correlation analysis and presents the possibility of their implementation. In the practical part it is focused on cerating suggested program and its testing on the real data sets.
Sport Centre Brno
Zaplatil, David ; Vostrejž, Dušan (referee) ; Odvárka, Antonín (advisor)
It is an object of sports equipment, which will be mainly used for ice hockey, as well as for the organization of other sporting and social events. The main objective in the design of architectural buildings were to meet modern requirements for the operation and use of the sports hall. Mass solution hall is designed as part of a hyperbolic curve, which rotates around a central axis. This substance is added next curve and along the perimeter. It is a sine wave, which is twice reflected on the mass of the object. This curve separates the roofing structure from the construction and glazing adds mass element dynamics, which is in my opinion the sporting character of the buildings needed. Construction is due to this curve seems to be constantly moving. This curve has another purpose and that the highest point of the curve are a total of two, is the main entrances to the building and the curve that creates a kind of "entry portal".
Deconvolution of hemodynamic response from fMRI data
Bartoň, Marek ; Kolář, Radim (referee) ; Havlíček, Martin (advisor)
This paper deals with the variability of HRF, which may have crucial impact on outcomes of fMRI neuronal activation detection in some cases. There are three methods described - averaging, regression deconvolution and biconjugate gradient method - which provide HRF shape estimation. In frame of simulations regression method, which uses B-spline curves of 4-th order for window length of 30 s, was chosen as the most robust method. Deconvolution estimates was used as HRF models for classic analyse of fMRI data, concretely visual oddball paradigm, via general linear model. Enlargement of localizated areas was observed and after expert consultation with scientific employees from neurology clinic, outcomes was evaluated as relevant. Furthermore Matlab application, which provides confortable observation of HRF variability among brain areas, was made.
Usage of Statistical Methods to Assure Capability of Production Process for Polyamide Technical Fabrics
Štugel, Miroslav ; Křivánek, Vítězslav (referee) ; Doubravský, Karel (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the quality analysis of company’s textile product. The control charts are used as one of the quality control instruments. The process capability indexes are calculated and the results are compared with the outputs of the control charts. After data evaluation, the concepts for innovation are specified. These concepts have the aim of the achievement of firm quality product’s variability, process capability and testing cost reduction.
Social housing, Brno
Krbylová, Alžbeta ; Krupica, Roman (referee) ; Sátora, Josef (advisor) ; Petříček, Tomáš (advisor)
The project of social housing in Brno – city part of Malomerice, is especially aimed at Roma community as well as other families with more members. Designed objects are situated along the borders of site to create semiprivate space for playing and community action in proposed community centre. Houses are designed to accomplish owner´s demands as it creates the diversity of terraced houses. The base of every design is unit (distinguished by gable roof) with entry space, staircase, technical and hygienic core. According to wishes, there were created number and location of rooms (with mono-pitched roof). Therefore in detailed house, there are rooms for up to 10 people with open kitchen and living room. Within the incorporation of minority community to society and improvement of their starting position in labour market it is taking into account with construction of dwellings by their owners with supervision under experienced craftsmen. Due to their simplicity and availability as main material for construction were chosen aerated concrete blocks YTONG. Façade is mostly made of basic white plaster with ability of choosing the colour in part with gabled roof.
Design of bathroom accessories.
Rajchl, David ; Buganská, Tamara (referee) ; Rubínová, Dana (advisor)
The task of this work is to analyze and propose a set of the bathroom accessories in respect of functional, technical, technological, aesthetic and ergonomic laws.
Determination of Blood Pressure
Plch, Miroslav ; Smital, Lukáš (referee) ; Čmiel, Vratislav (advisor)
The thesis includes a general introduction to monitoring and measurement of blood pressure of horses, the design of algorithms for pressure curve detection and the calculation of respiratory variabilities in mechanical ventilation under anaesthesia. The first two chapters focus on anatomy, on characteristics of blood flow and on vascular system. Then it deals with the measurement of blood pressure, monitoring of a horse under anaesthesia and it describes particular thermodynamic parameters. In the following part of the thesis, the methods of pressure curve detection are described. The last part contains the description of an algorithm designed for detection of pressure curve of horses in the environment of the program LabVIEW. The program calculates, displays and saves variabilities of systolic pressure, pulse volume, pressure amplitude, pulse frequency, peripheral resistance and vascular expansion from the detected values.
Cultural Center Brno
Juračková, Lenka ; Marek, Jiří (referee) ; Šindlar, Jiljí (advisor) ; Berková, Petra (advisor)
Bachelor thesis expands an architectural study elaborated within the framework of the course AG33 to the stage Documentation for permission of construction and Documentation for building permission. The topic of the thesis is a Culture Center in Brno, for which was selected a lot on the street Údolní in front of square Obilný trh in a slope under the Špilberk. Close to the lot is located University hospital Brno – maternity hospital and the building of Public Guard of Rights and historical build-up area from 19. century, which strictly keeps a street line, this street line was disrupted by gap site during the 2. World War, due to the bomb fallout. New building of the cultural center is designed in this gap site between two historical houses and completes original frontageline. The main idea of design was to keep the fromtage line and at the same time interconnect by designed project an opposite square with a park and castle Špilberk. Object comprises three parts. The main object is in the shape of a letter L and its back part is partly built in the slope, in bigger wing of the building is located a foyer, a big concert hall, performers, staff and technical facilities and storage area in the first floor, small conference hall with foyer in the second floor and gallery in the third floor, in smaller wing café and gym are located. Second part includes sheltered penthouse in the shape of letter L which is designed in form of steel structure, which is adjacent to the main object and thus creates square-shaped yard. The cover at the same time creates sheltered passage from Obilný trh onwards to Špilberk. Third object is the smallest one, it has cuboid shape and it is defined as a commercial space especially for free-time activities.
